This will not hurt stake because even if they had not given full bonuses, but everyone got some bonus depending upon when they joined the campaign. Also this offer was only for the ones who created new accounts on skate, for the old gamblers, they never knew what happened

I dont think it will damage Stake, there must be something like miscommunication on this offer. As confirmed and stated by one of Stake's representative on that thread as you can read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5261669.msg54790706#msg54790706 It is stated that the offer is subject to change at anytime, so probably because the offer does not give the best result for Stake then they decide to stop it earlier. The mistake in this case is that bitedge as the affiliation did not write this term on his website so anyone who participating are expecting to have full 40 days reload and do not know that the offer may stop at anytime. Other mistake is that bitedge is not even replying to those who are complaining.

bitedge has locked the thread and there is no answer from them. This will damage the reputation of bitedge  more than anyone else. Next time if they decided to gave more offers, people will be reluctant to accept them. The good thing in all this  is no one has lot the money and no one has been scammed.

You may say that you could potentially lose 3-20 dollars while getting there and that may not be a lot of money to you, and usually not a huge amount to other people as well, but to some people that is still a big amount, specially losing 20 bucks, but more importantly and the main reason, you could totally lose a lot more, you are not betting guaranteed, maybe you will bet a bit more riskier and lose a lot more, like 100-200 dollars until you reach 500, and that is like a salary in some nations. This is why I believe there is this situation where people from very very poor countries could have trouble reaching that 500 level.

By wagering 500$, you can potentially loose 500$... All bets that you place can be lost, even the ones with an odd of 1.01.

Why is it logic that you would only loose 10% of your bets? If that would be case, than any gambler would be a millionaire  . I win around 35-40% of all the bets I place...
If you place 500 bets on risky combinations, than there is quite a big chance that you loose everything.

You bring it to different topic dude, the starting discussion is about wagering $500 to be able to chat but now you move it to probability of lossing the bets with high odds.
Logically anyone should not make bets on risky combination if the main purpose if to get $500 wagered amount then able to chat.
Someone can even make $500 with small starting balance as elkaka said, it means that it should not be a big problem for anyone to reach the $500 wagered amount.

It would have been great if you guys can make a tutorial on How to bet or make the terms/keywords more easier like "Asian Handicap" etc to understand.
Moreover i am Also amazed to see a large varieties of Games in the Sportsbook.

Its not much if you play casually on the site but if someone create an account with the purposes of trolling, begging for money or even try to get some dust amount from the rainbot etc then that would means something . There is rarely anything that could damage the name stake, they did so many great things and they have been around for so many years (both as stake but even longer as primedice) that I can guarantee you that people have a lot of credit with them, they could make some small mistakes like this and not damage their situation, that is why I believe that they are fine right now and it will not damage them.

If they were a company that was a bit shady and people were not really sure about, they could have damaged it, the thing itself is definitely damaging, but when a company like stake does it, that is fine. Obviously this is not common, if one day it becomes common and gets more and more in stake world, they will eventually get some damage, but for that to happen they have to make a plenty of mistake.
