I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
bitcoin will last more than 100 years and I think bitcoin will last forever ..
why bitcoin can last forever ? ? ? because bitcoin is the first digital currency in the world to be used as a worldwide transaction tool..

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Personally, I saw Bitcoin will get more high price. In the future, people won't invest our money in land, property as land, gold or house...
It will be Bitcoin (crytocurrency)

I'm a bit skeptical about this. I think people would be rushing to buy land and house after earning bitcoin. Lots of those who will earn will also invest in what they can use in the future. Remember that each year the price of house and lots is going to increase, and I know that everyone knows that, and would prioritize it instead of investing it all in bitcoin, you need house after all.

it all depends on the demand on bitcoin, if the demand on bitcoin continues to exist, then bitcoin will persist. and seeing from the current state, the demand on bitcoin continues to increase and bitcoin can last much longer. I hope not only bitcoin, but other altcoin also survive.

No one can really tell. A lot might happen so we can't say for sure. There might be much better than Bitcoin so others would leave and hop the new one.

We should not really worry too much far ahead the future but rather in a determinable time frame.

Bitcoin is an online-based investment. Everyday many people invest in Bitcoin as a result of the rate hike from day to day. and in my opinion Bitcoin can survive after 100 years even more than 100 years.

I think I will never die as long as there are enough believers and still count and become younger and younger. Interested in Bitcoin This will definitely happen then.

True it is verry sad if bitcoin die. I also enjoy bitcointalk. For the fact that you cannot only earn as much but also enhance your english skills at the same time. In bitcoin and bitcointalk there is no discrimination. You just have to be passionate and sharing your knowledge. Yes without bitcoin in life, my life will be boring.

It is very hard to say, considering how many innovative technologies and projects appear every year. If bticoin will keep improving along with others, then yes, If it will stagnate, then most probably something better will substitute it.

Its too early to say dont you think? For now we can say that bitcoin is strong and a bit stable. For the next 100 years no one knows very well. I just hope it is still strong so that the younger generations experience bitcoin

As long as there are still people supporting or using bitcoin it will survive through next generations because the way I see the future where everything is fully digital world it is not impossible that even when it comes to money we will be using digital money, maybe there is other than bitcoin but bitcoin will always be there.

Nothing is certain when it comes to the future, especially if we are talking about what the world would be like a century from now. Many more technological breakthroughs and advancements would drastically change how we do our transactions and how to use our currencies. But if bitcoin is to become relevant, it must adopt to the changes and continue development so as to cater to a wider audience that keeps changing their preferences over time.

I think he will live another 100 years, that's for sure. But it will not be in the first place. This is also accurate.

They will replace it but not completely. This technology will live inside each currency, so you can not say that he will die at all.

I would like to believe that Bitcoin will survive the next 100 of years. Well no can can really tell what's going to happen. I believe that Bitcoin is a technology of and for the future, it is just starting, it still can be developed to be greater than it is today. Hopefully the Bitcoin community would grow more each year so we can ensure that the next generation would still be equipped and ready to maintain and even enhance Bitcoin.

To be very honest, i am not aware what is going to happen after 100 years. But i am predicting down the line only for 2 years as of now as btc should be accepted everywhere ,thats what should be the main focus and also on its usage and a payment processor. That would help increase btc vision for more period in years. But i feel it should be regulated  everywhere to unveil its potential and also the benefits what people are going to get.

I think Bitcoin can survive longer because the nature of Bitcoin can drive its development. As long as the Internet is still improving, Bitcoin will exist.
