I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

Well, the way I see it is bitcoin has a limited supply, originally it was about 21 million btc were to be released into the block chain and this supply was supposed to last us 100 years before it was all mined, in about 6 years we already mined 13 million btc, so imagine what will happen in 20 more years, I know that with each halving the mining gets a little harder, but as time goes one people never stop developing more advanced technology and powerful machines in order to make it easier, I am not saying that with all the bitcoin mined the bitcoin will stop growing or increasing, but bitcoin and the block chain technology must develop as time goes on in order to adapt to the advancement of other technologies.

What if I proposed that either inflation or deflation could be sustainable if done in a predictable and measured fashion?

The main failings of any system usually occur when hyperinflation or hyperdeflation occur, i.e. exceptional volatility compared to the norm. This debases the currency just as we saw happen to Bitcoin last year.

The USD's constant, structured inflation is offset by certain financial instruments to balance the money-machine out. The problem is only certain parties can really acquire the offset instruments, thus leading to the extreme imbalance of wealth we've seen develop since the 70's.It's way beyond me at that point. The impact Bitcoin is having on the world is paradigm changing, and I'm not that much of a visionary.

I think history has seen large wealth imbalances under both inflationary and deflationary currency schemes.

I think it may have more to do with the underlying social mechanisms that have become so intertwined with the current financial system that a lot of people blame the USD's failings on. The USD's management is a failure, yet I think it's a failure because it was leveraged as a tool to increase churn within the middle class, thus driving consumerism.

The USD had potential, and then it was squandered by those we entrusted it to. Just like a lot of other things in the country currently...

100 years is a very long time. And I know some will come and others will gone but it depends if it is profitable for miners when 100 years of bitcoin will come then it will be stable and survive.

How bitcoin will survive after 100 years if all of us will be die. I dont think so, but if the next generation until next generation all people continue using bitcoin maybe it will last. But for now just enjoy your lifw using bitcoin because bitcoin is such more potential currency of all time.

For me yes because I believe in bitcoin strong profit. But we all know that all of us canr predict what will happen in the coming days, so we cant say that bitcoin will survive after 100 years.

I can not predict this at all. But if I think, I'm not sure Bitcoin will last up to 100 years more. If the development of Bitcoin is just this far, it is very difficult for Bitcoin to survive that long.

I do not know what happen of the bitcoin after in 100 years if this will be survive or not. But if this bitcoin will continue and being a popular coins in a whole country maybe it survive because bitcoin it is a long term coins that we need to buy so many and hold it.

Main problem of Bitcoin that a group of 1000 investors used to have 40% of all the bitcoins. It makes the market much volatile. If a few of these investors are playing in a concert then they are the ones who are controlling the market. In a 100 years I hope there will be Bitcoin 2.0 with more fair distribution

In the Forex market, players can make more or less accurate exchange rate forecasts, tracking, for example, world commodity prices and thereby predicting the movement of "commodity" currencies. On the virtual same sites, the situation on world markets, if it does, is very indirect

No one can predict exactly that bitcoin can survive after 100 years, in my opinion as the the bitcoin now was currently reach to almost 12k probably after many years to come and new technology will comes out hopefully it will survive.

to see in the next 100 years is very long, can not imagine it. I only observe the progress of each year, and I judge every year that so many fans of this bitcoin, the possibility of bitcoin will last long.

Just imagine bitcoin or any other blockchain will be part of our future ecosystem due to its truthfullness, immutability and non-destructive properties . Its fast and cannot be altered.

100 years is a very long time, but I guess it will survive, yet am not sure if it will still be the king, because during so many years am sure that a better replacement will come up, because we all are already aware of the disadvantages of BTC.

However, who knows, maybe it will remain as the best storage of value in the crypto world, who knows!

Bitcoin is like a grass sprout, and there is no backing or background. Therefore, the recognition of value is very important to it. This is also an important element in the development of Bitcoin. For Bitcoin, more application scenarios can truly enhance its value, which will become the key to the future.

100 years is a long time. This is technology. I think it will be replaced by a new technology, more modern. But I hope Bitcoin never end.
