Bitcoin will be worth millions in 100 years! If we can all live that long we will be billionaires, but perhaps a billion dollars will not be worth much in 100 years  If it survives, then it will be a completely blockchain driven world |

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential
I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well
But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
No one can actually conclude anything yet considering the fact that bitcoin is not a stable currency and it is not even legal worldwide yet. There will always be chances that the value of bitcoin will fall as it goes illegal for some countries which will surely lead into its extinction. If people would keep on believing on it, maybe it would get a shot in the future. |

Anything is possible. Maybe bitcoin would still dominate all through the years or maybe bitcoin would be replaced by another cryptocurrency which will make it harder to predict what may happen in the next hundred years. If people would keep on doubting bitcoin's ability it will surely end up sooner or later so we should just keep on patronizing it no matter what happens. |

No way, at least not in the way we know it today and probably in no way at all. I think there will be a big crash when Bitcoin becomes no longer minable due to non-incentive.
Bitcoin could survive after crashing. There is a lot of Bitcoin fans on here and they will purchase Bitcoin if the price ever goes down to $10. |

I think that after 100 year everything will be based on bitcoin. There will be use of virtual coin in every country. Maybe i m not sure about that but people likes to use virtual things nowadays and it ll be very great if it happens  |

If the dollar will faded in the future, I think the only one who can beat it is the btc but I don't think that a huge currency like the dollar will fade after 100 years |

No one can exactly tell about what will happen next. Anything can happen in crypto world. But if the use of bitcoin will increase as it is increasing then i think that it will survive for even more than 100 years.

I believe that for 100 years the bitcoin is dead but there are still many uses and there are still many who believe in the power of bitcoin. The bitcoin price is more expensive and for sure the bitcoin is more used to the real world

I think bitcoin will be there but not sure about the value of the bitcoin.We can hope that it will withstand more than 100 years, then, of course, most of the country will start taking bitkoyn as a currency, so automatically we will see many potential results that will make bitokoyn very popular.

It might survive that long but it still depends on how bitcoin was used. If it is put into good use. when it becomes a profitable platform then people will use this system. so Bitcoin will also last according to its acts.

No, with the trend of coin technology evolving today, coin technology is at the core of growth and real-life values. I do not think that bitcoin and blockchain can survive and grow 100 years. It is too far away, we may not see it happening. There may be other coinage formed with more modern technology continuing to grow.

For me, I could say yes even if I cannot reach in that stage of years. I do believe that every now and then technology will always innovate and Bitcoin will always there since people will always able to know this. Bitcoin will survive because the new generation will for sure embrace this one.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but opinion is the lowest form of reasoning. The question is if Bitcoin will survive after 100 years, if you look into the history of technological advancement, what common is the present time tells us that, these or that is defined as impossible until it is done several years later. My point is, we cannot predict what might happen but if I will based my answer based on the history of societal progress I think that Bitcoin will survive, will evolve that will fit the future environment.

I think after 100 year bitcoin are will remain also, and I was believe that bitcoin can stay for a long period of time.and I am sure that bitcoin can't defeat by tha other currenceis that will compete on it.
however my point is bitcoin is here now after about 8 years and is growing stronger daily, 100 years though it seems small but I actually foresee it surviving till than and possibly it is already being used globally. as preferred currency. our kids will definitely be tha once enjoying tha fruit of our labour now by than. I thing and I hoped that all human will use in their daily lives.

I and your point of view is different, BTC now is a new technology, but also may be in a few decades have better technology than BTC also said not necessarily, so BTC in 100 years later, I think is not necessarily able to survive. |
