I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

I believe that bitcoin would live longer than 100 years. Bitcoin will continue to evolve year after year. The developers will not allow it to dies off. again would yield a lot of more coins.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

100 years is too much to think, we are now dead by that time, we can't also imagine what will happen to our planet by that time, but as long as there are people who keeps on using bitcoin it believe it will last for more and more years.

Yes. No matter what happen bitcoin will still survive eventhough it dumps into very low price. Sooner or later, bitcoin will be part in our industry.
I believe Bitcoin will be well-known after 50 years so it will be impossible to remove it in the market.

100 years is a very long time. During this time, countries may disappear, not just bitcoin. But I am sure that the blockchain tech will live on forever!

Yes bitcoin will survive. I believe that bitcoin wouldn't remove in the market. The reason is because many people gets a benefits on it. Many people have been change their financial status because of the cryptocurrency.

It is very possible but maybe not with the name we know, it could even be another cryptocurrency that carries this responsibility to be worth more than any currency.

We would want its success continue for the years that would come, but we cant tell what will really happen on to the years that will come, better always better always be positive.

Maybe, like our paper money, the paper money has already existed for a long time and bitcoin is similar, 100 years is feasible.

In my own opinion i couldn't say bitcoin will survive 100 years, probably it will take long in the online industry but nobody can predict the exact how many years the bitcoin will stay. Maybe the price will change goes down because surely there is another coin will comes in

I will not agree that.
Volatility is still too high, Bitcoin is not stable.
Even blockchain faces different problems. IMHO, for a hundred years, the price of BTC can be very high because it combines miners with different pools, so it may become more concentrated, which can be a real threat.

yes , why not. bitcoin has achived such position in the world trad and invest that can't be stopped now. Another good thing is that people are investing and making trad in bitcoin which make bitcoin more stable and strong one. Also the bitcoin has achieved the trust of its clients/users so they wan't stop invest and trade of bitcoin.

I think that in the future there will be more coins which are better and greater than bitcoin and because of that reasons, bitcoin will be replaced.

that is something I would never honestly think of. I'm sure I won't be here in 100 years, perhaps not even my children. God knows if the money will be needed in 100 years

The recent fluctuations in Bitcoin and altcoin prices has resuscitated the debate on cryptocurrencies functioning as a true store of value. After rising about $20,000, this dip in price had seen the most popular cryptocurrency slump to almost $6,000 before rising again and then trading around the $8,400 region as at the time of writing.
Rising and falling, and rising again has been one of the usual characteristics of the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency price trend. However, probably due to the increased level of awareness and the literal monetary value of the current price dip, the anti-crypto campaigners found a reason to make loud their criticism of the technology. And my answer for the question is yes it will survive until the end of times...

I hope everyone will benefit from using Bitcoin.
