Speak something in 100 years in quite long. If i speak something and how to prove it since inn100 years we will all die. Nobody will a live in this forum who are the member now.
Just prediction, bitcoin is surviving but not sure what the price is.

Hi there jimn! I’m pretty sure but not a hundred percent sure that bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency could last a hundred or more years. As we remember in history, people just use valuable items as payment, it is then followed by gold but due to the weight limitation of gold it is then converted into smaller coins and eventually into bank notes. But technology comes in and a plastic become the famous international payment tool and method. Then currently, this cryptocurrency could then replace those plastics. But as people research and desired for more fast, convenient and applicable way, there could be again another technology that could replace.

do i think ? Survive or  stay after  100 years, Bitcoin has  com to  stay,life  is  in phases and things change  over time, is  like  asking  if  internet  will survive  the next 100 years, this  is  the  move  for  the  moment, if  you  dont  have  Bitcoin in few years to  come  you will be  limited.beyond survival, Bitcoin has  come  to  stay.

For me as I really can't predict the future,  I believe that anything can happen within that period, there is a saying that everything thay rises eventually falls, Bitcoin is the major crypto currency at the moment but I believe that as time goes on,  another will come which will be more profitable to people and they will flock towards it abandoning bitcoin.And that's my opinion thank you

100 years is a very long time, a lot of things are totally changed and we never expected if it is 100 years old and for bitcoin I expect it will be difficult to last up to 100 years.

Well price of bitcoin will be more than this till end of year and will get higher for sure. Now bitcoin demand is very high and people are trusting bitcoin so if it is right now how it will be after 100 years. In very start of bitcoin it was not trust worthy but now people use to love bitcoin and they are ready to invest in bitcoin as much as they can invest and save their future with bitcoin help right now.

Very tough question . First of all, plz let us understand that BTC is not yet regulated globally , thats one of the main reason which question sits survival long time. ONly bTC team can answer this and their vision as well in terms of short term and long term .I had this doubt myself as in my country its not regulated yet and there are no signs of being regulated here .May be it may happen in the near future seeing the demand of BTC and usage, anything is possible.But i have no opinion on 100 years survival.

It is hard to imagine what will be for 100 years. Maybe there will be only one universal digital currency or the prosperous society without the money. That’s pity but we couldn’t to verify our fantasies.

Of course it will remain its dominant position and it will rise to more than 100% because bitcoin community rise and rise to break its highest pick of members. Many of the members are business men. They will not let bitcoin fall because their money is already invested and they will not let to dropped it at its lowest.

hard to survive the next 100 years bitcoin this because someday there will be more profitable / more popular program of bitcoin.dengan it people will switch to another program, but if the bitcoin its price increase it can survive 100 years ahead

Why not, bitcoin already works for almost 10 years, and gradually bitcoin opens up new opportunities, as we saw in 2017 bitcoin got incredible popularity but this is only beginning. The most important thing is that more countries must start legalizing bitcoin and then bitcoin can live not even hundreds but thousands of years. Bitcoin potential still no one is known and we will be able to see it only after a while, at the moment all that we can do is only to use bitcoins and make them more popular.

I think it can survive. Maybe in that time, it will be the dominant type of currency throughout the globe because the technology will be so advanced that we might make real money irrelevant. If it couldn't survive, then maybe there will be a new type of coin that will be the next boom in the cryptocurrency market.

These are just a few assumptions, if Bitcoin really existed for 100 years, then everyone around the world would use it, but it could still be a no-answer question. Bitcoin is stopping a certain price, it has not increased for a while

I don't think that bitcoin will survive after 100 years because even now, the bitcoin is having some difficulties in surviving since the fees are extremely high and that gives me conclusion that bitcoin bitcoin cannot survive for 100 years unless they will find something that will solve the problems for bitcoin.

In my own opinion, Yes it will survive for 100 years and the survivability rate is depending on how long people will be interested on bitcoins. Bitcoins today is one of the mainstream and if you are going to look at the future maybe bitcoins do really have a chance to survive since there are a lot of investors today.

I'm not sure bitcoin will survive for 100 years considering now starting to emerge new coins that are networked no less good, bitcoin prices are expensive to be the reason some bitcoin users switch to altcoin with a cheap price but provide profit

Thus Iis the main dilemma a lot of research are saying that bitcoin is the future on the other hand others are saying it's just  bubble that will blast in any moment leaving people with empty pocket

I think bitcoin can survive after 100 years but it also depend on its performance that how bitcoin deliver its services to its users if it maintain its work same like now a days its doing so there is no doubt that bitcoin can be an international currency but also it will end world poverty because bitcoin is the only currency which can do anything any time as bitcoin replaced other crypto from market so bitcoin can also stay for long time.
