To be honest, 100 years is a lot of time.
A lot of currencies have survived amongst times, but BTC, as the first one that really exploded in conjunction with the always decreasing time that things are taking to evolve, it will not take 100 years so that another coin or even an alternative transaction method comes up and reigns.

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well
But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
I personally believe it. I believe bitcoin can survive 100 years later even more. Because I have looked at bitcoin as part of the internet. So just as with stopping the Internet, nobody can stop bitcoin. |

As I really can't predict the future, I believe that anything can happen within that period, there is a saying that everything thay rises eventually falls, Bitcoin is the major crypto currency at the moment but I believe that as time goes on, another will come which will be more profitable to people and they will flock towards it abandoning bitcoin. Lets just say something comes beside bitcoin. But I don't think they will abandon the bitcoin. It become profitable to most people and brings changes to the lives of some. With the growing of technilogy, bitcoin will also grow. Their is also more time to improve the bitcoin in the future. Even if something rise, bitcoin will come on top. And if you ask me, if it will last a 100 years? I'll say yes. |

I personally believe it. I believe bitcoin can survive 100 years later even more. Because I have looked at bitcoin as part of the internet. So just as with stopping the Internet, nobody can stop bitcoin. well looking forward that you will be able to witness that mate and your logic I'm not sure why you relate bitcoin with internet existence since they are same in terms of service but likewise its better to be positive and hope that everything will still be working after 100 years with this system. |

Nothing is certain when it comes to the future, especially if we are talking about what the world would be like a century from now. Many more technological breakthroughs and advancements would drastically change how we do our transactions and how to use our currencies. But if bitcoin is to become relevant, it must adopt to the changes and continue development so as to cater to a wider audience that keeps changing their preferences over time.

Yes, Bitcoin is likely to survive, but that depends on the community and developers. If they can be able to maintain it, it can stay as long as possible. To round up, I would just say as long as the community keeps on supporting it and the devs doing the work they are supposed to do on their own side, Bitcoin stays on until they say it’s over. |

we have seen a drastic change in the value of bitcoin in the previous years. so sure in the coming days too it will reach high extend. i believe that bitcoin will survive beyond years.

I think that bitcoin will survive more than one hard fork, and it can become as convenient as a visa and mastercard. If this happens, then there will be no problem for bitcoin forever.

In my opinion no one can answer this question !
In fact 100 years ago no one pretended that there's something like bitcoin that will take place and in less than 10 years, it becomes more valuable by far than the most powerful currency in the world, equally for a hundred years after we know nothing about the distribution of forces at this time or the behavior of the people towards the cryptorruncy !

I hope bitcoin can last and be used for thousands of years, but we have to be realistic because the changing times are very fast and unpredictable, for example is Nokia, Motorolla and many other companies that were once considered to last a long time but they ended.

Same as the fiat getting used around the world for thousands of years bitcoin too will be used for a longer time period. The reason is that the upcoming generation is completely dependent on digitalization. So when everything goes digital the long lasting will increase gradually benefiting the user. |

Well, in my opinion, it will survive after 100 years. Just imagine how the future looks like -- industrialized, modernized, high-tech, globalized. It is very possible that cryptocurrencies will likely overtake the actual money bills and coins, and people in the future might find it easy to make their transactions with these cryptocurrencies esp. the bitcoins.

Yes it will. For me, bitcoin is just the start of virtual money. It is possible that virtual money will have more security standards in the future. So every country will have their specific coin and currency. |

Nope ,definitely not. Maybe some other crypto currency will be there in place of bitcoin and people will be like:- Will this "so and so" currency be used for buying groceries? Will it take over US dollar? Can i use this currency for investing in other alt coins? And it will continue on and on.. Bitcoin is stable and strong ,i agree but i don't think it will survive for 100 years.Don't get me wrong but everybody has a different opinion. |

This would be great for our real world, everything we trade uses cryptocurrency because it's far more convenient than cash. Not only that, the Bitcoin market will be the focal point of public opinion in the future as many countries are keen to accept Bitcoin. |

100 year from now,I believe bitcoin will still be evident. Especially by that time,people will be more aware and knowledgeable about what bitcoin is and how to use it and maybe but that time, bitcoin is already used widely by a lot of people in their daily lives. Bitcoin will survive 100 years from now especially if it continuosly improves and reaches out to a loy more people.

No one can tell since no one could able to predict the future and talking about 100 years all of us would be dead on those days for sure. Knowing that the last bitcoin would be mined would be on next 100 years (2140) as far as I remember if it could able to manage to last of into those years then I'm sure value is on the point on where we didn't imagine for sure and younger generations would able to witness such thing. |
