Bitcoin is just started and I hope it can never be stopped but realistically anything can happen, especially in 100 years.

No I don't think that bitcoin will survive afrer 100 year. Here is what I think: The bicoin could be replaced by another technology. You may wonder what technology? Well it may be DNA code, yep dna code is more complex than cryptography, thats why I think it is viable  |

No one knows what will happen after 100 years and there is no guarantee that bitcoin will survive that long as it may face many competition by that point of time and there will be many new currencies that will introduced by that time which will give tough competition to bitcoins and I think we should enjoy the ride till bitcoin is alive.

I'm sure bitcoin will survive after 100 years, and I think maybe another 100 years bitcoin will be the world's currency in the economy, and the rest of the country will make bitcoin legitimate and legal, so everyone is free to use bitcoin.

Yes i think that bitcoin will survive after 100 years. We are living in the time of internet. Our world has already been internet-dependent and after 100 years it will be more dependent on internet. So as we are using so much bitcoin these days, it will increase in the future. So i think after hundred years, bitcoin will survive.

A 100 years, I think bitcoin still there. But probably I can't witness it's existence because I'm sure that I have gone already on that time. I know is just an speculation and it would never affect us today's life of bitcoin, if ever it would survived for that long then much better. At least, the next generation after us are experiencing this kind of technology. |

I also think that bitcoin will still be there in 100 years, he or another altcoins elsewhere, like ethereum ... But likely that this system of decentralized money will always exist ... We are at the very beginning, and I think blockchain technology will revolutionize many things in our daily lives

Why to waste time on thinking about something where we won't be alive to see what's happening around us as none of us would be alive by that time so its a waste of time to think on it and I believe only in one thing that till bitcoin is around us give your best efforts to get in and enjoy the ride.

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well
But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
I won't probably be around anymore in 100 years, worms will already be eating my body. |

But still we can always presumed on its existence on next 100 years. We are dead for sure on those years and the one who can able to witness is our sons and grandchild for sure but i would like to make some comments about the survival of bitcoin on those years then its possible that it would still exist as long people would continue to adopt it on future decades.The interest and adoption is still there then it would really be possible and price for sure are on the amounts that we wont really expect. |

it will not last that long. it will overturn all the markets. the powers of the strong will shake. The bitcoin will pass the peak. but some political forces will try to stop this trend. and the rate of spread of bitcoin will be heavier than other currencies. because bitcoin wars will not come out. Money is worthy of war. BitCoin owners can not go to war. so the speed of spread to the world will be heavy.

First of all, I think this question belongs to speculation,moreover 100 Years is a long time the people discussing here might not be even present after 100 years and If you are considered about giving your wealth to your children then you can convert Bitcoin to dollar before your death simply. But coming back to your question there is no surety that Bitcoin may survive or not be because it is dependent upon many factors like government role, demand and supply factors, better substitution and much more. So, you can't be sure that Bitcoin will exit or not.

Absolutely Bitcoin will survive after 100 years. As a matter of fact it will be the world's reserve currency in that time because it the best store of value that there will ever be available.

I'm sure bitcoin will last that long though its value may not be as good today as it must be within 100 years there will be a new innovation product that will compete with bitcoin but the problem is we can not be a witness for the next 100 years to prove it |
