i think utrust can kick paypal from the throne, within some years. i am really glad that elon musk sold paypal and did not try to implement cryptocurrencies Smiley

yah! big mistake! but good for us if he did that we would not get the chance to be the part of the utrust community now

I think Paypal would have been a hit if Elon does that but he didnt. Utrust will be a futuristic payment gateway and we will be using it in real life.

We are incorporated in Switzerland for legal reasons. Switzerland has been exceptionally welcoming to blockchain projects!

We fully believe in this project and that it fills a big gap in this market. There is no commercial use for cryptocurrencies without a 3rd party service mediator such as UTRUST. Traditional online payment systems... This idea itself is enough explanation. A coin without a use case and circulation is a dead coin

Well bitcoin does not have a car use other than being a coin, but it has circulation, utrust can't be only a coin to trade, but according to the whitepaper is a token that will rise in price for the scarcity and for being backed by the platform, but i still don't know what to do with utrust once I have it, so I imaging that utrust will make some kind of discounts or give incentives to use utrust instead of other altcons.
Bitcoin is the father of crpyto that being used as a currency, the oldest so it has the biggest blockchain and the most trusted because almost everyone more know bitcoin than altcoin/token (BTC dominance : 56.9%)
So altcoin/token like utrust should have more value to be better known to people.

Do you think Bitcoin will succeed as a currency? I think it is better as store of value, and let other faster/cheaper fee's coins take the currency role

I don't think it is a good idea use bitcoin as a currency due to high transfer fees. Yes, it can be used with large transactions but for smaller ones fees are huge.

High fee and slow transactions. Bitcoin has many limitations and some of them are fixed in ethereum and hopefully rest will be in 1-2 years.

The thing is, UTRUST is always being 100% compliant. Other ICOs which I won't mention here already have problems with this. Some of them may run into legal issues in the future, others have problems being accepted by any major exchanges. UTRUST is not about the ICO (yet, it is a vital part!). We are establishing a legal framework that will set out the base for a bright future and years to come.

Our entire team believes firmly in what we are building now and these goals can only be achieved if you do it the right way from the ground up.

Yes, this indeed puts some hurdles into our way in regards to excluding some investors, but in the end we want to be here for the next generation ("Web 3.0") which, in our opinion, is build with blockchain technology! 👏

Cruchcrypto's review did raise some concerns, especially this part:
$3.5 million was raised during previous rounds at heavy discounts ($2 million at $0.02 per token and $1.5 million at $0.03 per token). Those participants have experienced a long lock-up period due to the delay of ICO from September 2017 to November 2017, which may cause these participants to dump their tokens below ICO price of $0.065.

The concern is based on how will their ico perform?

If they can sell all that means 3.5 m $ can't dictate the market. Even they just dump all still price can't crash.

But if they can raise 10 m $ and less yes it will become concerning.

UTRUST is pro cryptocurrency protection and the UTRUST team are doing their best to work as quickly as possible. i believe people who are satisfied with UTRUST service will hold their tokens and support UTRUST market.

Exactly, it's quite rare that bounties create a huge dump, except when they are worth a lot like in Eidos.

This problem is the same at every ICO that offers a bonus for early pre-sale participants, not really something that is especially negative here for UTrust.

With that argumentation you could also add Bounties as something bad cause the bountie hunters will dump their tokens for quick profit. In the end it will matter if the project can deliver what promised. Then nobody won't speak about a (possible) dump at the beginning.
Price will always recover, bounties are usually only something about 1% or 2% so investors shouldn't worry about big dumps

It depends on the size of bounties, just watch Eidos.

The article is very good!

Easy to read, nice balance of emotions and facts)

But I still have a question about. How could you expect the same from this team as from Monetha were?

Here is no prototype as well,  we know nothing about the core and time of processing. So how could we compare btc transactions with UTrust trasaction in time if we don't know the time of UTrust?

Monetha is a very different team. At UTRUST, we have an established team of 15 engineers and a handful of product designers. Our MVP was in work, but due to regulations that we need to comply to we unfortunately had to push it back to implement KYC which also needs to be ready for the 02 November.

Transaction time of UTRUST tokens will be the same as any other Ethereum token (including Ether) and depend on your Gwei and Gas Limit.

Finally, our plan is to actually onboard the first selected merchants on late December this year, just under 2 months after the ICO!

Hope this helps!

All transactions even fiat will be processed on Etherium blockchain?
Looking forward your MVP.

What do you mean exactly? Someone who wants to pay in fiat won't use UTrust.

I have a question regarding to this project; How are you guys able to speak so confident regarding to this project? They dont have anything working on their hands, yet everyone speaks like they already build the platform and payment system.

To be honest, Switzerland is open to anything that brings money to their banks, so why not support crypto which has shown to be great in collecting huge amounts of founds.
Its a win win situation and since they have a good reputation (and i love the county, except the prices Cheesy), i rather see Utrust to be registered there than in some shady environment.

I think most of us here are hyped about they idea and about how a successful UTrust project can help the whole crypto-world to become more accepted and part of the everyday life of more people. But as you said, there is no working demo here, so you have to give a huge leap of faith to the developers and hope that they can deliver what they promise.

To start, one have to read the Utrust whitepaper, understand it. Trust the Utrust vision and believe in the process. Utrust will aide in cryptocurrency secutrity.

Many ICO start now days to ask for funds without having the finished product ready.

Speaking for myself here, i looked into the team members and the company itself to see if they had the capability to build such system. It turned out they can imo.

The roadmap seems reasonable, 1 year from now they should start to have something usable. They are not promising the impossible.

As a last thing there is another project who become a partner SOMA.

That said anyone should do his own research and come up with his own conclusions.
