You must install sentinel, if not you'll not be accepted on the network. You need to follow the tutorial.

What I don't understand is how the price is changing on coinmarketcap when Novaexchange is down and it's the only exchange with the listing o.o

yes, this is where I end up. The terminal is not really stuck. The cursor blinks
but no message regarding rpcuser and password shows up

I FINALLY MADE IT.
I think the problem was the Alias in the wallet. I changed it and restarted the wallet. ALL SET.

There is no staking on MonacoCoin, there is only Masternodes and PoW.

yes, please update the pool list.
so far most of the pools listed here https://monacocoin.net/en/pool-miner-list/ don't work, Mining Dutch : Multi Pool is the only one.

Also, the rest of the pool listed here in the first page seem to have issues.
- altminer.net wasis a good one, but down because of the recent yiimp hack, up again!
- Lpool is assigning wrong coin to MCC
- mining.topcoins.biz don't give you rewards
- miningpool.thruhere.net has stability issues (try one of the API calls...) and currently not really working, stats for XMCC are since hours the same

i'm not really happy, setting up my own private pool.
