PD wont refund anything for you, thats a silly mistake from your part, I think someone is encouraging you to deposits there because he might have already has acces to your account beforehand

I am also using coinbase wallet and there is option to sign message, i can confirm this it is easy sign message using coinbase wallet at the moment and i can see this option from my cell phone and there is no problem for it.

Well I gotta say proving ownership of the deposit address isnt gonna solve anything here. There is nothing that PD can do except to give you some info of where your coins is and you should be the doing all of the job alone from there, if you are still waiting for them to refund your money then forget it mate
