Happy hour starting now  Woohoo, thanks again Stunna and Ed! I was late for this one, but maybe I will catch the next. I didn't even know there still is happy hours, nice! How big faucet is these days during happy hours? I'm interested in that too. As far as I remember there was 5k faucet during happy hours on PrimeDice last year, but they had 1k faucet if 1 BTC wagered at the time and now it't only 200 sats so maybe happy hours are lower also. |

Hi I'm interested in buying a primedice account with a decent faucet level. I just want to play and dont have a way to raise the faucet on my own with 10 btc in bets.
If anyone is interested in selling their account or dont use an old account, I'll buy if the price is ok.

It might seem like an odd rule if you don't understand the situation, so I'll explain it for ya. There are a couple reasons people changing ownership of accounts isn't allowed: 1. Impersonation - If someone traded you, let's say a VIP account that people were familiar with in chat, you could potentially pretend to be them in order to get tips from people or offer trades (also not allowed) and scam people that think you're the original account holder. Even if it's not intentional impersonation, I've seen people hand out tips to someone who they thought was a friend of theirs, and then it turned out to be someone else because the account was traded. 2. Faucet Abuse - Sort of like you mentioned in the original post, you wanted the account for an increased faucet. This is the main reason it's not allowed and accounts that are traded have their faucet disabled. Yes, Primedice does supply its users with a faucet to play with, but PD is still a business. You aren't meant to try and make a living off the faucet, that's not what it's there for. It's really there so people can test out the site, mostly. Repeatedly claiming faucet for entended periods of time, even if you made the account yourself and are the original owner, can still get the account banned. Last year PD lost a lot of BTC to people farming the faucet, which led to a) the wagering increase before the faucet goes up (from 1 BTC to 10) and b) the bans on accounts abusing the faucet. Those two factors have helped reduce faucet abuse a lot, and the brightside is that it means more BTC for PD to use in giveaways (like the bingo competition) and Happy Hours (periods of time in which the faucet is increased for everyone, regardless of wagered amounts) which Stunna seems to have started up again. Sorry for the lengthy explanation, but maybe others here will also find it helpful. |

The luck statistic is just a measure of bets you won compared to the bets you "should" have won statistically speaking. But you're right, if he only made a few bets and won more than he should have statistically, his Luck would be rather high. |
