Micro, that fee is less then the fee paid for my transaction that has not confirmed in 24 hours. Primedice paid 0.0001551 btc and I'm still waiting more then 24 hours. https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/3857de50042f0a2dc2671b6a50e4ba3d4f01560508b56b85a6672dc525d4d51a/You should really do a multiple of the size of the transaction, but not less then 0.00015 btc fee. Also how long will the transaction stay in the mempool before it gets removed? We raised transaction fee on withdrawals to counter bitcoin network congestion.
For fast confirmations on deposit you should attach at least 0.00015 btc fee.
Send me the transaction ID via PM if it doesn't confirm within 24 hours from now. There's not a central mempool so it's hard to say when or if it it will expire, depends if nodes/wallets keep submitting it. Jeff Garzik has been fighting for a while to get stuck/non confirming transactions to expire after 72h which makes sense: https://twitter.com/jgarzik/status/656920219953135616We've doubled the fee we use on cashouts. So right now our fee is greater than the current median 15,480 satoshi fee and transactions should go through smoothly. What that means is right now we're using a 9 cent fee (USD). There's no way we can make it to the halving without increasing blocksize/implementing segwit. Despite handling bets offchain, Primedice still accounts for a solid amount of bitcoin transactions and small blocks are becoming a major issue. There's no way anyone who is against scaling or wants to scale slowly runs any sort of high transaction website/business. Keeping an eye on this: http://bitcoinfees.21.co/

The same thing happened about 2 months ago. I think it has something to do with the high difficulty and many miners turned off their gear because it wasn't profitable. So for many it took hours to get confirmed even if they sent a fee.

why i always encountered "Too many Request !slow down"
what is wrong? im playing with other people with shared connection....
help me
Its basically some sort of upgrade in my opinion or your internet is very slow, you should try after sometime and you will find it quite easy to access Primedice. I tried myself and was able to access, anyways often I myself see such errors.

exactly, especially when you deposit some bitcoin in your favorite gambling website in order to be able to make some bets right away but then you will have to wait for 24 hours for 1 confirmation so that you can move forward.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Don't panic guys. There is a stress attack going on the network right now. But your transactions will confirm soon or later. Some guys are sending hundreds of small transactions, ruining the network efficiency.
Rising the fee is a good idea. It had to be done. I personnally raised my fees from 0.0001 to 0.00015 a few days ago.
It looks like it's enough.

Yeh, just add some fees. For PD (and other sites) withdrawals, it could be interesting to have a "high priority" checkbox. So default is 0.00015, then with checkbox for example 0.0003 (paid by user.) I am sure some bigger players would pay bigger. And I also assume some people don't care waiting a day (if you don't need the funds right away), so lower fee should be fine for them. Other idea: how much space (and therefor fees) would be saved if withdrawals are in batches? Could be optional, every x hours, for those who are not in hurry. Could give lower fee to player too. But depends if it really saves space this way and if people are interested in it. Of course the doubling should work fine too and is easier Obviously we can also just hope that most transactions are real spam (which should stop eventually or if "we" just outbid them), but realistically the increase (well SegWit) will be really used in May I believe? So imo interesting to think about other options too.

+1, yeah. It's getting ridiculous. Yeh, just add some fees.

Yeah, I actually sponsored the development of some patches that landed in bitcoin 0.12 to support this. Assuming you put a lock on bitcoin (so you don't send in parallel), you can now go: bitcoin-cli settxfee `bitcoin-cli estimatefee $n` bitcoin-cli sendtoaddress $address $amount My intention was that I'd default to $n of like 3, but users could pay extra to switch to 2 or 1. The big problem is, it's pretty easy to run out of utxo's if you're not careful. Other idea: how much space (and therefor fees) would be saved if withdrawals are in batches? Could be optional, every x hours, for those who are not in hurry. Could give lower fee to player too. But depends if it really saves space this way and if people are interested in it.
There's also a privacy cost to this, but it does have a lot of benefits. I suspect this would work especially well for a site like PrimeDice, which could probably save a lot on its tiny withdrawals. At least my site the main cost is just sourcing the transactions, so it wouldn't help that much (but segwit would)

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Sadly its not easy to add custom fees or do batch cashouts without rewriting a lot of code and changing the way cashouts are managed.

I agree with him micro i dont think the additional fees makes the transactions go faster ... And atleast make faucet go up too since the fees are doubled .. And chat is becomes a problem after the additional fees thingy why is that?? .. And by the way where's Moderator Hui in chat, we didn't see him after he lose 39 bitcoin .. We miss him ;(

I really love this site! I'm still busy developing the application. Implemented in current version: - Login (including automatic login / 2FA) - Registering - Betting - Chatting - Deposits - Withdrawals - Tipping - Faucet - Profile - Stats - Provably fair - Bet lookup - Open bets - Open users - Encrypted token Since there is no Android application for Primedice, I decided to make on. I will use the same looks as the site, but first I want to implement all the code. Plans for later versions: - Notifications when app closed - Open links in chat - Settings screen Small (and old) demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEYeyaBKF8M
