Buying and selling accounts is against the rules. Accounts that are sold/bough/traded/given away will be permanently muted, thus disabling the faucet and the ability to chat.

I removed the post for you. But dont really understand why someone wouldnt be allowed, if it's thier account, to give, transfer or even sell it to someone. Seems like an odd rule, considering it's theirs and they paid money to play on the site. If they don't want it anymore. But ok I removed it for you.

Thanks for removing it. It might seem like an odd rule if you don't understand the situation, so I'll explain it for ya.

There are a couple reasons people changing ownership of accounts isn't allowed:

1. Impersonation - If someone traded you, let's say a VIP account that people were familiar with in chat, you could potentially pretend to be them in order to get tips from people or offer trades (also not allowed) and scam people that think you're the original account holder. Even if it's not intentional impersonation, I've seen people hand out tips to someone who they thought was a friend of theirs, and then it turned out to be someone else because the account was traded.

2. Faucet Abuse - Sort of like you mentioned in the original post, you wanted the account for an increased faucet. This is the main reason it's not allowed and accounts that are traded have their faucet disabled. Yes, Primedice does supply its users with a faucet to play with, but PD is still a business. You aren't meant to try and make a living off the faucet, that's not what it's there for. It's really there so people can test out the site, mostly. Repeatedly claiming faucet for entended periods of time, even if you made the account yourself and are the original owner, can still get the account banned.

Last year PD lost a lot of BTC to people farming the faucet, which led to a) the wagering increase before the faucet goes up (from 1 BTC to 10) and b) the bans on accounts abusing the faucet.

Those two factors have helped reduce faucet abuse a lot, and the brightside is that it means more BTC for PD to use in giveaways (like the bingo competition) and Happy Hours (periods of time in which the faucet is increased for everyone, regardless of wagered amounts) which Stunna seems to have started up again.
