 For some reason I believe the awful slow speed of bets is the number one reason of the problem. When I bet auto and it goes slower then manual one I go crazy. I want to bet as quickly as possible and primedice can't provide that like most new places. Customer service is the number 2 problem to me after the crazy slow speed.

There's only a delay on bets that are dust sized, if you bet at least 0.001 at a time the speeds should be significantly quicker.

We're working on improving support and should have an update on that soon. The majority of issues are still forgotten passwords though and if you have not set an email despite the frequent warnings to do-so I recommend simply creating a new account if you do not have a balance. I've had limited internet access the past few weeks which is also to blame for support delays, getting that resolved now.

"Dust" sized bets have small delay only to lower the stress on the servers .

And given that most of that small bets are made from faucet , not many users are affected other than that playing from faucet. So if you are playing with free money i hope you can cope with bit slower bets and not put much stress on the server.

That's just my thoughts, don't take it as official pd statement .

This has nothing to do with being a whale. PD gets over 13,000,000 rolls daily and the majority of these come from the faucet. Every single dust sized roll (many many fractions of a penny) have to be added to our DB and all of the provably fair information has to be stored and accessible as well.This is a fair compromise between having to outright set a minimum bet and I think it's more than functional as each roll even when throttled will generally take a second or less.

Generally this type of delay will only effect users that are claiming from the faucet and betting those funds.

 Even if someone is playing with free money , I would want faster speed , hell I would want quick bets SPECIALLY if I am betting with faucet. The main purpose for faucet was to get people on the hook and show them how great primedice is and keep them there (tough many people try to use faucet as a way of making coins which I do not agree) , so 1 satoshi or 10 bitcoins , slow speed has no fracking purpose at all.

 Get better servers if its a thing.

A ~one second roll is pretty reasonable on a dust sized bet. I don't see how this would negatively impact anyone unless you were trying to do millions and millions of dust rolls. The vast majority of hosting costs come from faucet players currently and this would only increase if we were to remove the delay entirely on those bets.

Yes, these players are pretty vocal as some of their strategies range during a betting session from 1 satoshi up to 1 btc (Fibonacci's being one example). We had to throttle bets under 100 satoshi a little as well and feel your pain with DB management. Finding a balance is not an easy task for sure.

I think he meant when JD was using BTC, then there was really 4s delay on bets less than 10 satoshi or so. With dust bets on PD i can make 100k bets per day using bot, i tested on JD too, and got almost the same result, it was 110k i think. I think it is reasonable to have delay on small bets, especially for faucet users, what i think would be great, to remove delay for users who deposited their btc and not playing from faucet. But i guess it is not so easy to implement.

For tryout puposes so that someone could risk nothing to try out the game but then there is always a play money option to replace faucet but the thrill of winning isnt as huge as playng with real satoshis even if it is just few hundreds. Plus some success story of risking few hundreds satoshi from faucet and play with huge multiplier always drive people nuts if you check on the chatbox.
