Hi Primedice!
Any plan to open deposit for altcoins on primedice ? Stake.com had that but I don't see it on primedice, i'm sure many people also wait this too. I'm stop using bitcoin for a while because of the fee, so I hope primedice will open that option same like stake.
thanks
It's finally being seriously worked on and will be complete in the near future. Which coins specifically did you want to see on PD? That's a really good thought it's about time that PD also have alts. I feel bitcoins cash is the most required alt, it's at a good value, ripple I'm not sure how long can it last. Deep onion is a new currency and could be considered. It's actually very difficult for all to agree, but a poll is required but in the end it has to depend on how much fees it costs you and for your members

Yes maybe they used poll to agreed which better altcoin to use as a stake in betting, in my opinion much better use an litecoin to have additional options may used to deposit in PrimeDice because it is have a very low transaction fees when you withdraw or deposit your balance.

Researching or having a poll on your own will surely identify what your players want but it will also have a chance that the results will vary from person to person. Looking at the competition you will know what Cryptocurrency is the most active as you will see all the game logs involve. It is really in the right moment now as Gamblers are actually looking for other alternative ways to gamble outside the usage of their Bitcoin.

Really glad to hear that you are seriously working on implementing alt coins,i would serious like to see doge coin being added as one of the coin and hopefully you could start a good sports betting site too as there is enough space for a good sports book as we have very few sports book that are great and trustful.

It's finally being seriously worked on and will be complete in the near future. Which coins specifically did you want to see on PD? I think what you guys should do is just bite the bullet AND... Go Lightning Looking at the LN node explorer https://lnmainnet.gaben.win/ there are already many nodes and channels opened. There is a certain degree of risk but you can always cap it to say 0.01BTC or so. Be the very first site to make bets on the lighting network.

Deposits are easy the harder part is post-play withdrawals. I'm not sure if there's an easy way to do bi-directional lightning transactions without us having to put two transactions into the blockchain. I'll talk to our developers more about it, lightning isn't something I have a lot of knowledge of yet but I'm definitely interested in learning more. I do know that lightning devs have however discouraged use on the main net but for a smaller amount it could be a fun test.

I don't know what do others think about it but for your website altcoin is like must to have. Personally I think it will be great if you add litecoin, ethereum and dash, maybe some still prefer doge too, so combination of these four altcoins will be enough. And if you built exchange function, I think it will be better for your users.

I do know that lightning devs have however discouraged use on the main net but for a smaller amount it could be a fun test. From what I recall if you leave the BTC that you received on the lighting channel, when the user withdraws you can use that same BTC to send it back to them, unless you close the channel and send the BTC back to yourself on the main net. Yes I agree currently many developers are warning others not to use lightning due to bugs... however for a small BTC amount it should be fine and would help weed out the bugs. I think there is a Trezor retailer that is selling hardware wallets on LN even.

Risky bets? Big wins! Congratulations chaNo8pha on your HUGE 90 BTC (1,000,000 USD) win! I can't even imagine betting such a huge amount on a dice game. But some of these guys are so crazy about gambling and ready to lose so huge amount if luck doesn't support. Even though these guys are early adopters of Bitcoins but still it is a huge money at the current market price. Anyway, congratulations to winner and

Its just his luck that he won that much otherwise i have seen people loosing 500+btc.
