Since some time passed from when we launched new PD version 5 its time to poll you guys what do you like and what you dont like about new version?

For me the major stepup is that this is great foundation for quick and easy updates and easy to keep adding new features. So we will listen to you guys and try to introduce as much of those features as possible.

I hardly care about any themes / other features but it would be really great if you could introduce PvP gambling.

The same PvP gambling that came out during the time of pd3. I don't know why was it removed. It was a great way to build up interest in chat and stay people hooked up.

I'm pretty sure it was removed because not many people used it, and if that's not the real reason then it's because there's no reason for PD to offer a free service which they don't profit off of.

I didn't tried it, but I saw PvP in other sites, and normally the house keeps up to 10% of the players prizes. Example: you bet 10 satoshis for rolling below 50, I bet 10 for rolling above; then you win, and you get 18, instead of 20.

If Primedice can improve the house edge on PvP, I'm sure it can be a success.

Doesnt matter at all when there will be no one that is going to use it . It was taken down because most people dont use it at all and on the past there has been some pvp dice site as well and now those sites are gone. However if you check Stunna's message you can see that it is ready so probably it is going to be ready ( or already ready ) soon

I remember that the only people that used to use the PvP bets was basically one whale betting against another whale.

It was actually pretty entertaining to watch actually. Some times the rounds were pretty epic.

However it eventually died down and was removed. I am pretty sure if it was added again then most likely nobody would use it again.

Actually the house edge in your example is 5%. PvP is heavily abused by faucet farmers more often that not. They intentionally lose to their alts in order to gather on one account an amount sufficient to make a withdrawal. I personally don't miss PvP because when it was there I never played against other player anyway.

Only you will hardly appear in the top 30 with multiplier less than 300x (mine was 120x unfortunately and I can't do any better however hard I try). There are so many entries with 990x and higher. But I'm not going to give up so fast.

In my opinion the max bet button should of never been added in the first place.

I ended up completely emptying an account in the past because of that button.

Why would you need to max bet anyways? Even if you needed to max bet why don't you just set it manually.

How many people actually use that button? It maybe makes sense if you are betting on 99% or so. But anything less than 75% doesn't make sense.

I don't know what were the reasons for removing the feature, maybe they were valid, but I really miss it because I was using it frequently. I am really happy to know that the max button is disabled, is it disabled by default or every user has the options to disable it, i like the latter than disabling by default, the temptations to press the max button is real and i have lost many times in the past, you have to experience that emotion the moment you end up busting everything, its awful.  Waiting eagerly for the alt coins to be added.

Its not on default which you would still need to click it for it to enable or disable which is a good tool for players because it is really tempting to use up that max bet button when you are on rage. haha

faucet amounts are usually reduced because of the increasing bitcoin price so the gambling sites don't want to be giving away too much bitcoin at a time. but also this is what usually happens with popularity of these sites, since one of the main purposes of the faucets is to help people test the platform and get people to just play without even depositing anything and see if they like the game, the more popular the sites get the less they will be needing faucets. so they reduce the amount. there is also the "farmers" who abuse the faucet and force the dice sites to reduce it to make it harder for them!

But sometimes you really need those button anyway, you do not really need enable or disable button if you can control yourselves though. May be you are risk taker and always do max bet, we never know, but for me I do not actually really need this. That was stupid of me to not click on the Settings, while looking for my transactions, I believe it was in the Statistics in the previous versions, but I may be wrong of course. I thought I've tried every option. A lot has changed since 2015. Back then you could of easily got a 3500 sat faucet with only like 10BTC in rolls.

However as the interest of Bitcoin exploded in 2017 so did the faucet abusers and these days 3500 is a lot of money to give away risk free for someone who can easily 10x and withdraw and do it over and over again.

The faucet is just meant to test out the site so you don't have to make a deposit. But people started to take advantage of that.

I can't find next server seed hash anywhere, it's funny that no one noticed, so all server seeds generated for the new version most likely calculated with the advantage for the house.
