10+ forum post count.
Specify, please, this point: it's about this forum (bitcointalk.org) or Primedice forum (forum.primedice.com)? The giveaway is being held on their official forum, to participate on the giveaway means you need an account at PD's forum so it is obviously 10 posts at their forum instead of bitcointalk. Unless the giveaway is being held in this bitcointalk forum.

They had a min tip back in 2015. I can't remember what it was but it was something like 50000 Sats or so.
However you could make a brand new account, no deposits, get a 1000 sat faucet and once you hit 50000 sat you could tip another alt user account.
Whenever someone tips someone it appears in the public chat.
Usually we would see something like
Joe1 tipped Joe 50000 Sats Joe2 tipped Joe 50000 Sats Joe3 tipped Joe 50000 Sats
Basically that is clearly someone account farming and faucet abusing. There were even mods in the channel that show that and they didn't care. I even asked why it's allows and was given an answer along the lines of "It's against the terms but at the moment we don't enforce it".
Now a lot has changed provably because the abuse multiplies exponentially and PD had no choice.
How can you say farming is faucet abusing? Surely it was timewasting but I didn't find anything in their TOS or FAQ that saying " Using faucet and withdrawing from it is against our rules " They even promoted "The more you wager the higher your faucet gets and you are able to withdraw your faucet winnings. " However if someone Tip from Account1---> Account2 50k at the time Account2 had 1k sat. And then sending back that 51k Back to Account1 then it could be considered abusing. But banning someone for a lot of Faucet claims is not a kind move and surely is against the promises made to those members who wager 100+ BTC.

A lot has changed since 2015. Back then you could of easily got a 3500 sat faucet with only like 10BTC in rolls.
However as the interest of Bitcoin exploded in 2017 so did the faucet abusers and these days 3500 is a lot of money to give away risk free for someone who can easily 10x and withdraw and do it over and over again.
And that is why there is a minimum "tip" amount too, people claiming the faucet, betting and winning once, and sending the btc to another clon account to cashout. Not only that. You can't tip at all if you haven't made a deposit recently. I don't know for how long you are eligible to tip from your last deposit but I tried to tip someone some time ago and I got something like "You can't tip without deposit" and my last depo was made in December 2015 according to my Transactions' info on PD. I thought I was making depos after that, but apparently I wasn't. They had a min tip back in 2015. I can't remember what it was but it was something like 50000 Sats or so. However you could make a brand new account, no deposits, get a 1000 sat faucet and once you hit 50000 sat you could tip another alt user account. Now a lot has changed provably because the abuse multiplies exponentially and PD had no choice. That's right, the minimum tip was 50k sats back then, but of course it was much less in USD than it is now. In fact it was 36 times less, so to keep the minimum tip on the the same level it should be 0.000015 BTC. I propose to the PD team to consider implementing 0.000015 BTC as a minimum tip, instead of today's 0.00011 because sometimes you just want to say hi by tipping a friend in the chat and 0.00011 is a bit too much for that. Also I think that together we can find a way how to fight the faucet farmers without raising the minimum tip amount.

Just played around fairness a bit, seems new version not fair at all "The server seed is created before you specify your client seed, ensuring that a server seed purposely in our favor cannot be generated." I can't find next server seed hash anywhere, it's funny that no one noticed, so all server seeds generated for the new version most likely calculated with the advantage for the house. This is a known issue and will be fixed within the day. However, you're wrong in your assumptions, this is a front-end bug on that specific modal. For some reason we were showing previous seed and current seed hash instead of current seed hash and next seed hash. Anyone could grab their next seed via the API since launch and I suggest you do that until that modal is updated later today. { user { nextServerSeedHash } } EDIT: We've patched the modal and it is now live on the site, Thanks!

The reason why people tipped themselves was because it would be extremely difficult and time consuming to go from a faucet balance to the min withdraw balance. Hence people just made a few different accounts, each one so they have enough time to go past the Captcha faucet time limit and would tip the minimum amount of like 50K until that account reached the min withdraw. How are these people exactly contributing to the growth of the site? They aren't. Just waste of resources. The reason why they rewarded heavy gamblers with a larger faucet was as a gift to get you to gamble more. Hence why the accounts with 100+ BTC roll overs had the most largest faucets.

I think anyone who’s a serious gambler, doesn’t need to use faucets. Only to test the website before depositing, but test currencies take care of that just fine..

Sometime when serious gamblers are out of funds but they want to gamble then they will use faucet, it is still needed as faucet is not only for testing purpose but also a reward for active players. Indeed, not all gamblers are willing to use faucet as some of them may think that it is just wasting time for nothing but still it is a good reward and they can win good amount from the faucet as well if they are lucky enough.

Abusing the faucet by creating 100 accounts to try to cashout some bits for free, doesn't looks like a very good practice at all. These bits can be used instead as reward for real members.

I think the reason why casinos use faucets instead of "demo or play" money for testing out the site has 2 purposes. The Bitcoin faucet was created back in 2009/2010 and it was a way for people to try out Bitcoin as a currency. Back then a faucet gave you 1 BTC per day per IP. All you needed to do was reboot your internet router and get a new IP and you would get another 1 BTC, but it wasn't worth it since BTC was worthless back then. The second reason is to get the user hooked since he is playing with real money instead of demo money. So if by some miracle he wins, he will feel like he "is a professional gambler" and will deposit real money and lose it all. It's a psychological thing.

You are wrong, freebitco was giving away 1 btc totally, you could receive 0.00001btc or etc, it was depended on number of users who solved captcha. So it wasn't 1 bitcoin per user. And no, second reason is that (at least what I have heared from Baryom) faucet grows on levels and old (ranked) players can feel free to give a try to faucets sometimes, they won't be blocked but they mustn't abuse it too.
