I would say it's situational and logical decision to sell Bitcoins at any given point.

Nobody wants to have a loss on their investment, so wait until you achieve a handful of profit to your investment and analyse the trend closely before selling, sometimes your profit might be higher than expected.
Yeaa it actually will always conditional , you cannot just set certain limit for no matter what reason.
It will only ruin your trading decision , sometimes you can only did it spontaneusly , not with a planned one.
I mean you need to have a good analysis skill to be able predicting the future market , otherwise it will always based on speculation. Buy and sell it follow the trends? That is the most simple way.

Increasing or decreasing value of bitcoin doesn't affect my decision when to sell because the only thing that affects my decision is my necessity. If there is something I want to buy or there are emergency expenses occured then I will withdraw some portions of my earning despite the fluctuation of its value.

Actually, I don't care too much whether the value of btc is going up or going down from time to time because I already set to my mind that I will wait (unless I need money again) 'til btc reached the value that I desired. I do this because I'm still hoping that maybe someday I'll become a millionaire also like the ones who bought btc way back when it is cheaper.

Nobody wants to be monitoring the prices all day with the cursor on the sell button just waiting to click the mouse, so how do you decide when to sell?

If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.

What's your strategy?
I will monitor the coin charts, when the price has increased, I will sell the coins according to the price of the chart in the market.
You must be holding Bitcoin because only this way your strategy can work for you always. Being a trader of digital assets, sometimes it really becomes difficult to take decision like whether to sell out or hold so the best solution for Catering with the situation is to set up a target and when that target is achieved, sell out some of your coins and later on buy them again at low price. It requires experience and a lot of patience.

If you a trader and you don't have enough time to monitor your position on when to sell, I will advise you to set a take profit order base on the percentage of the profit you want make from the trade. You can equally set a stop lose orders to help you reduce your chance of loosing too much of your capital while you are away.
In trading that is part of the job to do monitoring but if you don't have time to monitor the pricing of what coins that you are going to trade then as what i did I asked my friends who is also into trading or subscribe in multimedia because there groups about trading there.

I don't blindly follow market price without any plans and i don't wait without selling thinking that sky is the limit for my profits.I set a profit margin of almost 10% or 20% and as soon my invested coin reaches that price target, then i just sell my coins and complete the trade. Some don't set such profit limits and they simply follow the price rise thinking that it would continue to rise and suddenly when it gets dumped, then they suffer a huge loss by selling their coins at much lower price than their bought price.
it seems to me this is the only reasonable way

It is really hard to know if it is right time to sell or to buy coins. I always observing my blockfolio in order to know if it is the best time to buy or to sell a coin. We should know whether it is right time to buy or sell coin for us to not lose our money.

Yeah, it is really hard to guess about the coins buy or sell. Usually i have a problem when i want to sell my coins and i can't decide it easily. I know every trader has that problem, because we all wanna more profit, that's the reason we do greedy but sometime our greedy give us lose in trading. I got experience this point that when you have double profit from your coins then sell it. Sometime our wait give us lose, better to take decision on the spot.

it depends on me what time to sell because i sell it when the price is high and i think it would be  risky if i didnt sell in high price because its tired to wait then the price would go low again.
According to my plan of trading with bitcoin I will still busy in buying because the rate is not too high now and will be waiting for future when the rate of bitcoin will increased up to 25k $ then I will start selling bitcoin and can make a huge profit at that time by selling my coins.

For you the current rate may not be high but most of the people would consider it very high price to buy bitcoins so they will wait for the price to drop to buy at cheaper price and when it comes to selling you can sell it any time when its giving you huge profits and if you are looking for more then you can hold it even longer.

If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.

What's your strategy?

I believe we can't pick the best order points all the time. And there is no exact right time to sell. It's totally up to your buying costs. If you bought the coin for cheap price, then it wouldn't be hard to sell it to realize your profits.
Yes it is you would not let to sell youre coin on the price that you wouldn't expected so as you buy it in the price that you have bought. As much as possible you will sell it in the highest price but sometimes unfortunately you can sell it for your second choice price.
Yes, the crypto market is very much unstable and we are not always successful in making our desired profits. You should have at least 2 price choices at which you can sell off you coins. Sell off your coins at your targeted price. I am never disappointed with bitcoins since they always dump hard.
Setting the ranges of selling point is good strategy. I dont usually look on exchanges everyday ,sometimes twice or thrice only. When I said that this lt when reached such a mount maybe like x5 of it's value when I have,I can sell it already.
That is the key and right discipline for us to sell on a right time because we have a range of selling point and that will become the right time for us to sell so even the price will go up higher than your selling point then it is still a good decision to sell at your selling point because it is a less risk decision but it gives you profit which is what you need in trading or investing.
On the off chance that it is about train at that point right. Teach is something which can give you 100% beyond any doubt objective. On the off chance that you are having great choice and principles then you will be achievement in the event that you are not having great choice and standards then you will be dependably flounder. Train assume imperative part in venture on the off chance that you are having discipline then you will have brilliant future.
I chose to offer my bitcoin if the cost is rising, and I will purchase bitcoin if this cost is diminishing that is the great approach to purchase bitcoin,I dependably screen the costs of other coin not to bitcoin as it were.

My husband strategy in selling bitcoin is he sell bitcoin when the price is high.  Unlike others, he kept on monitoring the price of bitcoin.  And every time the price is high, it is the best opportunity for him to sell his bitcoins.  But when the bitcoin price is low, he start buying bitcoin.  It is just proper timing. So, this is also my strategy.
Most times, you will still always need to analyze the charts to be sure you are making good decisions and also understand that good decisions do not just come true every time.

I am sure your husband must be a good trader and there must have just been sometimes when he will have to buy back at loss while trying to sell for profit and then the value increasing further. It is just one of those things we have to always expect in trading.

Deciding on the time of selling is an easy decision to all is of us. Well, sometimes if we decide with emotions well there is always doubt but suddenly it's easy for us to sell it when we decide with weak decisions.

Based on a plan that I had decided, and at what percentage we will take a profit, etc. Actually charting is really helpful when it comes to trading if you do it well it gives us an insight where the price is going to. And putting a stop-loss order is gave many benefits when things don't go well.

For me, I will check first there news about the plan of the coins or token. Then i will see on exchange site if there any movement of there token, if have i will bid my token in the highest point that can reach. But sometimes when i see that i will have much profit i will sell it directly but not all i will half half sell.

when it's in 10-20% profit for short and midterm trading.
and about 50% for long trading.
It's my own trading plan.
You should have your own trading strategy and follow exactly it. Fix it when need.

My strategy when to decide when its time to sell when its values drops a little but if you will sell it make it sure that the value you will sell is much higher when you bought it.

That's the main point trading, buy low sell high. We should not sell with lower rate than the time we bought it, indeed sometime we need to do cut loss but actually it is not recommended. We should see what is happening, looking around to find the reasons why the price is up or down. This will help us to decide to sell it fast or wait a little bit to get higher value.

First factor that makes me decide to sell is when i badly need the money and no other source of funds for that urgent needs, 2nd is when the price reaches high to the moon and you are already satisfied of the increase of the money you invested, that’s the time i may decide to sell and wait again for right time of buying for another holding...
