I've had the hardest time downloading the Linda Windows wallet.  I finally succeeded after creating an exclusion for the folder because Windows was terminating the download.  Ok, great! Now I just need to unzip the file and off I go.  Well, I unzip the file and the extracted folder is blank... What now?

no need to unzip, just double click on the exe :-)

21-JAN-2018: 30M Lindas are still required to have a masternode

*Based on their white paper/road map this limit will not be dropped to 2M Lindas until Q3/Q4 2018

**Lastly a web wallet is being beta tested which will allow staking without installation of a local software-

When staking 1M Lindas and configured with all current nodes I can usually get 1000 to 1500 Lindas daily so set this up versus using as just a local wallet or keeping everything on the exchange (Cryptopia/CoinExchange) as such a return is quite remarkable and really consider once Linda is worth 5c, 10c, 25c or higher the value position of Proof of Stake.

Hi,

I'm trying to stake since more than one week, at the beginning with 200K, saying everyday stil one day before rewards, then I added coins, now I have 500K since 2 days, and it still saying me still 1 day before rewards. It seems that the staking is continously reset each time I asked getstakinginfo. Really think about dump all my coins, because your staking feature doesn't rewards and this is not acceptable!!! Checking networks traffic, on last 30 minutes, 89MB In and 99 MB out. The Linda.conf was updated wit last networks peers; https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/LINDA

See below some results

08:23:19 getstakinginfo

08:23:19  { "enabled" : true, "staking" : true, "errors" : "", "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "pooledtx" : 0, "difficulty" : 352944834.23452526, "search-interval" : 16, "weight" : 50054894469359, "netstakeweight" : 69510118218356384, "expectedtime" : 124980 }

08:30:26 getstakinginfo

What is wrong with this staking feature?

====> "staking" : true,  means staking is activated,
====> "weight" : 50054894469359, means I have 500K coins mature on my wallet,
====> "expectedtime" : 127016 means the expected time in second before rewards, so 127016/3600 = 35 hours,
and this number was 18 hours yesterday for same network size, whats is wrong with this staking feature , make crazy

I also posted on reddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/Lindacoin/comments/7s4a6p/impossible_to_stack_with_500k_coins_everyday/

Though Linda was a nice coin.

Saw atomic swaps coming and the required amount for masternodes will be dropped to 2 million coins.
That are some nice things to see with an coin with this market cap.

But why does their twitter accounts have so much buyed followers?  https://twitter.com/Lindaproject/followers
Checked the account and there are a lot of eggs with no tweets or only 1 tweet in their twitter lifetime.
When seeing these kind of things it looks nothing more than a pump and dump coin.
Seeing these kind of things is raising red flags.

I shall watch this coin how its developing further and hope it's not a pump and dump coin but a coin with real future purposes.

Well.... i`m with linda since end of August last year.... and unfortunalety, devs are not supporting this project i mean.. they don`t response here, they don`t help us.. we solve our problems alone here in the forum, so i`m strictly watch this topic here and i know every page from beginning, if you look little closely the circulation from around 2 months is always 6,003,429,666 (so you can understand my point), i really liked this project, but today i decided to sell my lindas(around 5 millions)... it was hard decision but i hope the dev become more active if this happens i`ll come back again for sure but till then i wish to everybody luck with this project, and you can pm me if there is movement for dev side  Sad Huh

@messcrypto Your Wallet Weight and Network weight will determine ability to stake please consult the community discord group (Staking and Wallets) outlining the correct coin control parameters.

-Max

You can also ref the Linda Staking document found <https://www.dropbox.com/s/g64zj9iy7163n3c/Staking%20Tutorial.docx?dl=0>

Most people will do coin control as soon as they get a stake, coin control will take all your coins and set it as one input so your weight in the network is higher resulting in a better chance to get more stakes/getting stakes more often.

Right now everytime you get a stake your pot will be split up so if you have 1 million coins, after you get a 100k stake, the amount you are staking is two 550k inputs not 1.1 million.

1. Go to settings -> Options -> Display -> enable coin control.
2. Go to the send tab and click inputs.
3. Select all coins you have and click ok.
4. Copy and paste your wallet address from receive coins tab..
5. Enter in the after fee amount and hit send.
6. Your coins should be staking as one input now.

I think this is not a pump and dump coin, looking at the current trend it doesn't show any pump and dump pattern but I could be wrong though? If you look at the chart, it seems like this coin is finding support and getting back up again, which is a good sign that as days go by this coin is getting more mature and most likely will last long. I do understand what you're saying here, I actually just visited their twitter accounts and realize that there are a lot of fake profiles that's been following linda, maybe it's just fake accounts from other linda holders to keep the hype up or maybe it's the devs decision, we never really know but this coin really has a future, the dev's been active and there are a lot of upcoming projects in the months to come, as you mention the atomic swaps will be interesting and dropping the required amount for masternodes will really help the price climb back up again and I hope this move will also help this project reach more investors.

Still looking into it. Will let you if I find out.

In the mean I have another question. Trying to build, following masternode-1.0.1.1/doc/build-unix.md. All pre-requisites ok, but when I can't execute "qmake -qt=qt5 USE_UPNP=-". Nothing happens. What I am doing wrong?

One thing that I'm worrying about is that they seem so active on their twitter, but there is no activities on GitHub. Are they currently actively developing the product or just actively marketing it and pumping it up?

lindawhale - 22-JAN
"no Mrbitcoin is our new project Lead he will work directly with me on project development"

MrBitKoin (Discord Handle)

MrBitKoin - 22-JAN
