That is true, in this digital age society, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency may play a big role in a way that we don't need to think too much about how people can easily see every transaction we do online and our world is getting faster and faster Bitcoin is good and effective way to solve every hindrance we always encounter online.

Well despite the fact that government of most countries are now going for cashless society, and digital currency is now the only means to carry out transactions across boundaries is still a quick and an empty assumptions to think that paper money will be totally faced out because of the presence of digital currency.
Most local market can access and accept digital currency and again most 3rd world countries are face withe the problem of technological underdevelopment which made then not to have access to the internet and electricity and this two thing are the fuel that power digital transactions.

It is possible because already people hesitate to carry the money along with them and mostly many people are using the card for buying groceries and other stuff their cards only. There are possible chances very soon paper currency will be replaced with digital currency.

I don't think so. The banknotes will be there forever. When the credit cards (plastic money) came out, people were saying the same thing. They were claiming that the banknotes will become extinct in a matter of few years. But nothing happened. And I don't think that digital money will be able to do what plastic money failed at.

Geez, I don't know about this because if that would have happens what do you think will happen with people living in poverty who are not capable of buying any computer or any smartphones would you think they could live would that? I don't know man I mean the government wouldn't allow such things to happen aside from the fact the decision not reside on majority but for the sake of all people in the world.

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

Maybe. The posibility is high specially if digital currencies present a better and a much more easy experience as compared to uaing paper money. But as of now, paper money is still as good as digital money and I don't see any problems with it. If digital money does step up its game, then maybe people would switch to them.

if it replaces my sense of not, because paper currency has been used for a long time maybe even ancient use, maybe digital currency will be used in the future but not to replace paper money.

I don't think so, paper money wont be replaced by digital currency ever. Simply because many local bank and their government wont let the people to do it as it wont be good for the financial of the local bank unless local banks decide to accept digital currencies.

The digital currency can only greatly squeeze ordinary paper money from circulation, but it is unlikely to replace them in the foreseeable future. In life, there will always be situations when using the crypto currency will be inconvenient, or even impossible for a number of reasons. In addition, it should be taken into account that some citizens simply do not want to communicate with the crypto currency due to some beliefs or their physical defects, or simply the lack of technical means for using crypto currency. It should also be noted that according to the laws of each country, domestic paper money is required to accept in payment any state and non-state structures and organizations. In addition, the use of national money is the right of every citizen and it is unlikely that these laws will be changed from the narrowing of the rights of citizens.

In the near future maybe. As of now the major banks around the world will prevent it from happening because it can lead to their bankruptcy.

I guess digital currency can replace paper money. But it'll definitely taje a long time for digital currency to develop such technology that people would actually start using them on a daily basis. Maybe 8 to 15 more years from now since digital currencies aren't that technologically inclined yet.

With the modern growth of information technology, more and more countries are introducing new methods of payment. No one is surprised that you can pay for purchases in a store using a smartphone, even a card is no longer needed. I think that in the near future there will be a gadget implanted in a finger, hand or something else through which we can pay for services.

Fiat or paper money is the lifeline of all kinds of transactions around the world and it is well-controlled by the central bank of every government. Digital currency that uses blockchain, which is decentralized will not be accepted by any government because it can't able to conrol. Paper money will not be easily replace digitally unless it is centralized.

Never! Paper money can never be replaced as all the centralised banks running them would have to close down and governments would never agree to a decentralised system of commerce. Corruption will go rampant if this ever happens so for the good of all, lets hope it does not.
