Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that. What do you guys think? No, we still need paper money, many people think that we will be able to do everything with computers and digital technology but technology has its limits, poor people are not going to have access to bitcoin or to credit cards so paper money is going to be necessary for a long time. I don't think like you, we don't need paper money. Actually I'm not using paper money, I'm only using my debit and credit card. If I had a chance to use crypto in my daily life, I can even leave my cards as well.

Digital money has already replaced fiat money for the most part now I look forward to when cryptocurrencies replace the current fiat system and credit card system. We need to bring back the anonymity to transactions and I think we can accomplish through cryptos.

Absolutely, it will. its gonna take some time but it will.
As fast as bitcoin is making the world astonish it just seems to be happening all around the world in coming time. Like you said, yes it can take maximum of the time maybe more than 2 3 decades but that will be happening and we all we will evidencing this. Bitcoins are so fast and they are making places in markets and hearts of people, and definitely a time come when you would be having a cashless society. Bitcoin become most successful because it give people its maximum profit and people are very happy to it and in future this craze of bitcoin will be like roaring ocean and will vanish every other currencies on this planet and you have seen since the last week pump it continue on rising this shows that bitcoin matters a lot to the people because it is source of earning for them and they will never its side because it will keep giving.

Am actually surprised to see more votes for Yes. There are still dictatorships and unhealthy political environment in many countries where people are not allowed to have their basic rights, on that replacing paper money will definitely take generations.

Once a point comes in which you're able to use a debit card-like system for crypto transactions, like what Bitcoin Cash and ELTCOIN are trying to do, then I believe we will begin to see a mass adoption of crypto. Another problem is that many people still dislike using online banking systems, so attempting to get these people to adopt a purely digital currency will be difficult.

As we go on developing new technologies that makes digital transactions smoother, the chance of cryptocurrencies like bitcoins replacing paper money would increase. It is only a matter of time.

Maybe in the future, yes, it's possible. We can never can tell how far far we can go through technology. Internet is just now one click away everybody has access. Much convenient, faster transaction and safe (in terms of like robbery/ thief's).

Absolutely, it is destine to replace all currency. For those who don't know this is even Biblical, there will be one common currency. Whenever I use to read that on the bible I thought that would be kind of hard. But now with this crypto currency, I don't know about you guys but it seems the possibility is there more than ever. Remember this, I am happy and achieving success is great but don't forget who's in charge!

I think digital money will never replace paper money. The value of digital money is unstable, it can not be used to buy everyday items, paper money is more common than digital money.

I think YES. Digital currency is inevitable for thousands of years the human race has developed a number of different currencies over the ages. We went from trading chickens and livestock to actual currency. For the longest time we used coins that were different types of precious metals. After that we started using paper money involving legal tenders when the metal started getting low. With the new digital age we're heading into, it is completely inevitable that we will one day be using digital currency. Humans are constantly looking to make progress and enter into a bold new age.

I will say yes but not in my lifetime . We already use credit card, or check, transfer. Money paper it's just to buy little thing like eggs, milk. But people are not ready to pay all with digital currency. Because +90% population don't know what is the blockchain etc and the volatility is too high, we need something more stable.

If I had a chance to use crypto in my daily life, I can even leave my cards as well. If you can then cool for you but that does not mean that everyone is going to have the same opportunity to do that, a significant amount of people in the world lives with less than 2 dollars daily do you think they are going to be able to use debit cards and credit cards for their payments.

Yes, digital currency will replace paper money. If we are talking about the means to which we use currency, then yes, paper money will be replaced by digital currency. But I do not mean that something like Bitcoins will replace traditional currency. I am speaking of transactions that use something like a debit card or credit card.

Absolutely not. Inflation. Decentralising each of the worlds major currencies would leave our global economy at severe risk of hyper-inflation. Despite mathematics dictating a upper limit on currency available, there will always be a way to duplicate and forge digital currencies. When quantum computers are stabilised, encryption becomes redundant. It won't happen. Too risky.
