It will never happen that the digital currency will replace the paper money. Because the word it self "digital currency" its only work in online investment, online banking, online trading and etc. Aside in paper money you can always bring it, you can always use it every where you want, you can give it directly when ever you want. The digital currency is working by the help of technology and not all place you can bring it aside of paper money it can easily bring and use it aanywhere.
The mass of people believe that the paper we call money is secured by gold or other precious metals, and that gives them value. At the moment, there is no country that has gold coverage in its currency.Mass reception of a bitcoin by the people will replace paper money. In the fact, you can not use Bitcoin for everyday. The transaction fees of Bitcoin is higher than the demand of user to pay small bill. You will need to spend 50 dollars for lunch in restaurent, but that amount is higher than total costs you need to pay the bills in this meal.

I think No, we known a place by their monetary also so if all places uses and makes bitcoins as the official money of the world theirs no distinction and the governtment wouldnt have the chance to control the community and the people.
You are right, every country has sovereignty in regulating the currency of the country. So, even if bitcoin is legalized, it will only be an alternative currency that applies globally. Moreover crypto currency is highly dependent on the internet, while offline then it is useless, then fiat is still indispensable for payment system.

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that. What do you guys think? no its not, paper bills or what we called the physical money will never fade.i believe that bitcoin or the digital money will rise in future in which may be use in major transaction, but remember that it has limited function becaue it needed electricity and internet while the fiat dont

With this possibility, nowadays electronic payment is becoming more and more common. Everyone tends to use electronic payment instead of using banknotes. It is inevitable that digital currency replaces banknotes.

I think its really up to the popularity of digital currency. If more people will start using digital currency then other people will start to use it as well. Lets face it, the world is a big stage and who ever is popular, others will follow.

Paper money is still in need and also used for people who do not know about digital money. In the long run, paper money is still needed for something small.

I think the electronic cash is more easy to use ,for the crypto currency as the payment way is too complex.

Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? This already happened all over the civilized part of the world. Will this happen in less civilized parts? Certainly. When? I don't know, may take some time.

in my country there is no support in the presence of digital currency they forbid it, whereas people have to keep up with the development of modern technology, and they prohibit the transaction using digital money and I think not prohibit it but make it as an alternative payment tool. , and hope my country can legalize bitcoin and other crypto

Yes, there's a big possibility that one day, digital currency will totally replace and phase out paper money. Due to fast changing technology everyone in the future will start considering using digital money more.

I also have thoughts like you. I currently use more credit and debit cards in any payment except for payments that are not currently receiving digital money. I am sure that in the next 10 years the digital money will replace the banknotes in full, but not make the paper money disappear.

Personally think that no country will bear the legitimacy of Bitcoin as a currency, but also for its credit guarantee, it is not reliable. Therefore, banknotes will not be replaced by digital currencies.

Saying yes or no to this would depend on which region and society I belong from.
In some countries paper money/fiat currency surely be replaced in coming few years, but I can't say the same about the world. Many countries across the world are not that technically educated to use digital currency and they would need many more years to replace paper money.

For me yes there's a possibility that digital currency will ever replace paper money because as of now it is so popular and many people are using this for paying some bills. For me it's better if they accept both digital currency and paper money because there's few people that doesn't have a digital currency.
