Of course, because we live in the digital age, universal globalization leads to the formation of a single over the money system. No state, will not control digital money. Free movement of capital is a pledge of rapid development of crypto currencies...

I do not think digital currency will replace banknotes, but digital currencies will be used more frequently than banknotes.

I don't think digital currency will not replace paper money. It will definitely not happen in a decade or two. As a large portion of people still don't know about digital currency. Many people will still consider using paper money to buy of what they need. And I have great faith that digital money will replace paper money. Simple paper money has caused so much inflation and too expensive for governments.

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that. What do you guys think? There's a possibility that one day, paper money will be faced out and will be replaced by digital currencies. Right now, digital currencies are use for transactions online which make it easier and faster. Paper money is used for common transactions and purchases in some stores. Thou they both work as a medium for exchange they both have different uses. Digital currency is just new to this time and as long as technology is not that accessible to most of people, paper money will still exist.

Not everyone knows virtual money like Bitcoin because some countries have no good internet access.

Guys most of the fiat money exist in digital form already if you haven't noticed. They might not be cryptocurrency, but they are in digital form. When you transfer money, its mostly numbers that just add up and not actual money. So yes there's a very very high possibility that fiat might not exist in future at all. Its just cumbersome to carry them around. How many of you pay with fiat at grocery shops? Not a lot.

Yes, it will become a more popular mode of payment but not to the point where it would replace fiat money that we had been used to using for a long time. Have you considered if digital currencies were used as a mode of payment? The high transaction fees that it has, suggests that it would not be feasible to use it for small transactions that we are doing in our everyday lives. So digital currencies can only be used simultaneously alongside fiat money.

I think it could be, because of course there is already a redemption tool as a payment or exchange rate to transact. society has made several changes in the currency in history. First gold replaces barter system as a transaction tool, then paper money replaces gold as a tool of value storage. Then, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will replace the paper money as a transaction tool.

Eventually yes but that is still a long way off. As it is presently, the volatility makes it uncertain and many people still have serious doubts about it. Replacing fiat's, maybe in another 10 -15 years.

- I wont happen even till the end of the world, how could you expect digital currency will replace paper money while there is no real form of digital currency? There are also some countries starting to fight against digital currency, so it will make your dream even harder.

Well, by looking at what is happening in different countries, some like Scandinavian ones are testing or considering cryptomoney that could progressively replace paper money, especially Sweden which has one of the highest rate of the population paying by credit card.
However, there are 3 issues that need to be considered: IT security (hacking risks), energy/electricity market evolution (IT and the internet is highly depending on it) and regulation. All 3 are evolving at a different pace in every country and still need to be improved. But developments are ongoing.
When looking at the changes that occured in the music or in the telecommunication industry for example in the last 30 years, I would assume that one day it will happen.

I don't think blockchain technology has a big future as a replacer of the world economical system. Governments won't let it happen. Digital currency can replace paper money if governments will control the emission and usage of that currency. But it won't be the cryptoworld we all dream about

Digital currency is easy to exchange for the other country currency. It good opportunity for the country people growth and save more money. But which country currency you will change you need to for other country account details. If no you will not easy to exchange. So thing and plan for impove more profir. It time to changing so you will know the process. You have other country account easy to exchange.

Yes I think so.Because technology has become closer to us and human have become dependent on technology.Further almost every process we see today is automated.Even money transactions are done electronically. Therefore eventually the medium through which people negotiate will also be automated and digital. As crypto currency is digital it s obvious that in future fiat money will be replaced.

Yes, it has all the possibilities. For one, it is good for the environment. Just imagine we wouldn't be needing to cut trees for paper money. A paperless society is ideal because it is efficient and near real-time. People will also have more control with their money because they have a copy of their accounts at any given time with just a click on their gadgets. While I believe this evolution will take place, I still think majority of the people are not ready because there are limitations brought about by financial, social, socio-economic, psychological and physical aspects that have to be taken into consideration.
