Yes that is right it is not such an easy job, it will really take a lot of time may be more that half century, because still not all the people of the world know about bitcoin, specially in backward countries were people are most illetrate and do not have good knowledge about computer and internet, they even do not have facilities to use internet therefore I think that it will really take a lot of time when all the people will become so much educated to use computer and internet.

i believe will be possible but it will be taking so much time, what i mean is the whole word needs a lot of preparation when it comes to digitalization. Every entity of the world must brain storm and learn enough to facilitate and implement the global digitalization of money. I believe there will be lots of regulations to be refined in order to disregard the possible irregularities and avoid future frauds that use to take advantage against others.

I'm not sure, because there are still many people who do not understand technology primarily using digital currencies. It look like paper money will still be used as the main currency of many people.

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

I do think that eventually all money will be electronic. It's getting there already with payment methods like credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, etc. Most spending I do is with a credit card, then I use my bank's billpay system to make payments on the credit cards. So I don't use cash unless it's a small purchase.

I think everyone will gradually move away from cash to some kind of digital fiat. It's hard to say what that will look like in the future, but I think it will happen.
The world is now technologically advanced, although electronic money is quite handy, but is there a disadvantage in that, do you ever think that your money will be stolen in the future?

Yes I think it's obviously possible that digital currency will take the place of paper money.Because now a days peoples are much dependent on digital currency more than cash And since were now at modern technologies and technologies are invading already in our society today so I think it wouldn't that far enough that BTC would replace paper money....

If a country or any organization has to create a new currency in the future, it will be a pure digital currency.
Also considering the possibility tha,t as some point, traditional fiat currencies become purely digital.

There is no question in my mind this will take place eventually whether by bitcoin or something else. I’ve seen this start to take place over the years especially by credit cards which started this “movement”. Many people fail to forget that once upon a time the people were told their gold and silver would no longer be used for currency but new paper money printed by the government would in fact be. This was just as shocking of an idea at the time as is Bitcoin replacing the currency fiat dollar. There’s room for both to exist IMO.

Maybe, it’s possible the digital currency will replace the paper money that we have now. Because as days passing by our technology is getting hi tech and nowadays we live in a technology era whereas most of our transaction today is in digital, you can transfer money from online, buy anything from online. Most probably in later days or years paper money will vanish.

I dont believe that this kind of scenario is possible to happen right now or in the near future. There is always balance in this world like the yin and yang you can not use it in a place where there is no internet connection.

One day, it will be real yes.

World will have only one currency and it will be digital money.
well base on the bible when God's second coming there will be no more money, credits/debit cards, and maybe even digital currencies.. all through chips that can install in our wrisk and forehead... so its a yes it is really possible to replace paper money to bitcoin and other digital currencies in the near of future..there is no such possible when it comes to innovation and technology.( except the time machine 🤣🤣) ..and there is no permanent in this world except changes.. and we all know being human..we all always trying the new trends even if its for good or bad we still trying it why? because we all have freedom to do so no one can limit you ... but sometimes we need to think first if its for our good or just a temporary satisfaction...

I think on this day it is not possible to happen that digital currency can replace paper money, but that is not as easy that replacing paper money or fiat currency since the begining fiat has the biggest rule in our economy what if there is no internet or no electricity digital currency is frozen at that situation.

I think not, digital currencies will not replace paper money. although it is possible that digital currencies will replace the banknotes because of increasingly sophisticated technological advances but will not be effective to use because it is too complicated to use even as we know that using digital money can minimize crime but is very ineffective and insecure

Fiat to be replaced by bitcoin? This is something that's very hard to believe. Because as long as governments continue to exist, they will always demand that their fiat money be accepted rather than cryptocurrencies. Its possible that the government accepts Bitcoin but instead it will be used together with fiat instead of replacing fiat.

The digital currency will absolutely replace paper money. The question is how quickly this will happen. People in megacities practically do not use paper money, it becomes not convenient. Especially it is more convenient to make purchases on the Internet by electronic transfer

I agree with you. Technology has improved so much. The way technology is going forward, it is possible that people will not use paper money anymore. PyTem is being used in India. A Developing country like Bangladesh is transferring money through Bkash or Rocket (mobile banking). Maybe there will be no paper money in people's pocket next 10 years or 20 years. There is only the blockchain.

The possibility is there, we cant close the option because digital currency has many advantage the paper money. Like carrying it always like paper money but cant be steal by others because in accessing your digital currency there is a password, also there is the two factor authentication that makes it harder to steal. But reminder not to live you account to be leave log in your this security to work. Because to technology today life has been made easy and it will continue to be more develop and more features or security will be added in the future.

I also think that replacing paper money by digital currency is impossible to happen. Maybe, digital currency will be legalized worldwide and will allowed all of the people to use it just like paper money; but not to replace it at all.

Absolutely YES!!! The world is getting more tech involved, so there is no doubt that digital currencies will eventually take over. Even before cryptocurrencies came into play, paper money was already fading out due to the ease of making payments with debit or credit cards either online or at physical stores with POS machines. Another reason why I think this is very possible is the ease of transfer, its easier and "safer" to carry and pay $100,000 with digital currencies that carry hard cash paper with you. Lastly there's the argument of climate change now. We've got to protect our trees, meaning using less paper right? So since there's an alternate method of payment and we are still getting real value for the transactions, then that's the way to go. #sustainable payments for transactions... Grin
