Yes, to replace paper money is not at all possible even though the percentage of digital banking and currency users increasing. Still many countries are dependent on paper money more than 80% of their transactions from fiat currency, so keeping that in mind digital currency cannot replace paper money.

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that. What do you guys think? I believe that cryptocurrency has the chance to replace fiat because now a days cashless transactions are very useful and most of the people are using credit cards to buy their needs. The benefit that bitcoin is giving to us is the profit from investing which is increasing as the time goes by.

I don't think this is possible. Paper many has its advantages over cryptocurrency just like cryptocurrency has its own advantages over paper money. I can not pay for my transport fare here in my area with cryptocurrency, it is paper money. So many examples are there for you.

Well, for me, there is a big possibility that digital currency will replace paper money because as you can see, we can order online using PayPal which is not using a fiat. But before it happened, it will really take a long time to be accepted and trusted by government of some countries. Let's just consider and think that there are countries who are dependent on technology who used bitcoin for transactions. It's the simplest way to say that digital currency can replace paper money.

every country has an official currency, and it looks like it will not be replaced. I think, crypto will always coexist with other currencies and help simplify the process of payment transactions to the world.

As of now no, since not like the paper money bitcoin is not yet legally approved and fully accepted by all government and all countries, it needs to undergo series of approval and documentation before it will replace the paper money.

I think the digital currency will ever replace paper money because the digital money is using by majority of the people so soon this digital money will replace the paper money and then the banks which are now the big industries of the country financial system so if the digital money comes and it replace the paper money then the trend will changed and the banks will disappear from the world it is not easy to replace the decades paper money and this is universally acceptable money.

Yes it will. Pressure is growing every day on FIAT money. In 10 years I can see it coming. Cryptocurrency will be more logical for use in 5 years, but we need to see some regulations implemented before switch.

Yes, it's possible. Today's generation is too dependent on technology. We need some innovation like Bitcoin to provide the needs or the dependency of people onto technology.

I fully believe that digital currencies will take the place of national paper money. This is a real outcome. Investors are aware of the change. People who have not noticed the change yet will see the signs soon.

I believe that in 10 years the crypt can replace paper money! She does not depend on anyone! It will be the same as with plastic cards. At first it's not convenient, and then everyone will use it!

The use of digital currency is very convenient, but in order for it to happen all over the world, you need full technical support for each store, cafe, transport, etc. But it is problematic to implement it.

I think the possibility is yes, but not completely digital money will replace the fiat, because it needs government interference, basically the government would be more happy in menggunanakan own currency is fiat. In today's life digital and fiat money will co-exist.

It will, and we are experiencing a process through which it actually does replace (or at least push to second plan). The number of people using cryptocurrencies are increasing, the cryptocurrency ATMs, exchanges, online payments services and merchants accepting them are also increasing worldwide. This means, that cryptocurrencies are fastly entering our lives and maybe they will soon replace conventional money.
