I've read through this thread and all I've seen is how everyone talks about how nice the idea is. Is there an MVP or at least a working prototype for the simplest idea in this project? Dev. updates? What has actually been done already?

The Digest app would have been launched before now, but we are raising the standards higher. It would run on Solidity but the Demo/Alpha version would run on Django/Python for now before switching.  It's currently 90% complete and is being moved over for hosting.  An announcement would be made to the public once this is complete

Crowdfunding and brainstorming does not need to be done on the blockchain. You realize that putting all of these operations on the blockchain is slower and more expensive than it would normally be? Your cap can't even handle the scope of what you want to achieve.

CGT would enable less expensive and more widely accepted cross-border transactions between African countries than the currently popular mobile payments. All Cryptogene projects would be
integrated with CGT. A sizeable amount will be generated and sold in a crowdsale to
raise funds for Cryptogene projects. The Cryptogene developers would hold a reasonable
amount for continuous development along the line while being staked. The total
percentage to be sold in the crowdsale would be based on a fair ratio to ensure a perfect
internal economy, supporting buy-back programs. There can only be a reasonable

their hard cap? The more reason am so glued to this project (they are not greedy man). Many shit projects I've participated in raise Millions and no real project to show for it, But cryptogene projects have already begun even though theyve not raised funds completely. $2.5mln is equivalent to 75000000 Naira and that's very huge Sir. You may have a point, but have you considered the benefit of using blockchain technology for crowdfunding?
It Will give such benefit as transparency and mitigation of middlemen, thus reducing the total cost of the funds raising as well as realise funds on the basis of anonymity.
Trust me, using the blockchain technology as a crowdfunding platform is cost effective, transparent as well as protects individual personal details in Favour of the participants.

Due to lapses with information dissemination, knowledge
sharing, monetary integration, economic impediments and other socioeconomic
disadvantages common in Africa, Cryptogene aims at a multi-platform hub
that supports cross-border learning, usage, and development of blockchain tools for
individual and organizational goals.
We will embark on, Physical offline awareness via Summits, Seminars, trainings, and User oriented
programs, like the Cryptogene Ambassadorial program will help solve this issue.

The use of social media which is the major way through which we create awareness is not the only way way awareness can be created.
We have organized and held life seminars in some major cities in Nigeria, we have no plans of stopping there, holding seminars in other parts of Africa is also one of our agendas.
