Very true man @memoransome but extra cautious efforts should still be made when considering ICOs to invest in especially those with active community because there are some people that are in this game to use ur money to get a lambo while some Actually have it in mind to give value to human life with crypto. Why title of the thread says ICO was 24 Sep 2017 when it didn't start yet? I think late October or maybe November would be a good start. Main priority is a complete team with solid  advisers and some promotional tours to strengthen community and support.

I was happy when I heard that there is a wanna be Russian fake version of Cryptogene not because frauds are good but neither only takes a good project to have a counterfeit. This is to say that for these guys to have decided to try to pirate this project it's because there is something. I used to have a friend that practically disturbed me to buy Etherium at 10usd but I didn't

I heard about that too, is indeed annoying, the are trying to scam people using a cloned Cryptogene Exchange (Havene). Havene is one of the base platforms initiated by the Cryotogene Project to solve the issue of inefficient cross boarder transactions mainly in Africa.

Before I discovered Cryptogene havene there was a time my friend and I had to make a huge Btc supply to this particular in abj. The volume was massive and we could only supply a small fraction, and im the end we lost out on that deal. Since i discovered Cryptogene havene missing those kinds of opportunities are not in the equation anymore because of the level of trust in the system. It is only normal for pirated versions to try and come up

I perfectly understand what you are trying to say, CGT will be the base currency thereby increase the demand for CGT, so therefore when there is demand for CGT, the value will increase.

Yea the Cryptogene Token exist on waves plaform, while the smart contracts which is the area am more interested in will run on the etheruem platform.
So i guess we should be expecting a cryptogene blockchain platform embedded with both waves and etheruem platforms.

We have to be careful what we download now since anything could be a virus or something that could go through our accounts.

In order words we should be expecting a blockchain similar to that of bitcoin and at the same time embedded with etheruem blockchain to enable it run smart contracts. Wow I must confess right now the complexity in the technology part of this project is a major turn on for me especially with integrating the token with both waves and Etherium blockchain. I think we should all learn from this. It cost u little to check out the authenticity of any mail before taking decision. This fraudulent acts are common generally in the financial sector. Common in Africa is the fake messages from bank impersonators.

Very true I also think we should all learn from this to avoif bring a victim, seems online theft is gradually becoming more and more rampant these days. More so I still think it would not be out of place of we raised the alarm in the Cryptogene crowdsale group on telegram, slack Twitter and all other social media platforms that are related to Cryptogene

For windows users who already run the program they've got from those fake email, it is better to restore your windows to the previous point before you installed the application. I got the same email too and unfortunately I trust it. What a bad day for me! Usually I will always ignore all emails from strangers but not today.

No matter how hard people try to imitate a project, there are always things to look for which distinguishes that project from clones. Are there any steps being taken to help the investors disguise clones so as not to be scammed?
This will in turn show that the Cryptogene Team has the interest of its investors at heart.
