How many coins do you get per stake coins?

Let say I have 10000 coins.  How many coins would fall my way when it does get a pos reward?

Trezarcoin uses a 0% proof of stake, which means you are not guaranteed a fixed APR. Rather, the coins you hold are mathematically translated into hashing power called 'coinweight', which is then multiplied by your coin age (up to a maximum of 16 days) and used to mine coins. Once you've found a block, you'll be rewarded with 100 coins & your coin age will reset. The "PoS difficulity" is variable, so the more people staking, the harder it will be for you but your odds increase the longer you've waited without a reward.
It is a similar concept to mining, but instead of investing in gpus, you're investing in coins since your balance (hashpower) is being used to find new blocks.
This is where I get a confused (So I'm probabaly going to confuse you too Wink but from my understanding: Your wallet will be virtually split into multiple inputs. So if your 10k coin is split into 10 inputs of 1000 and input number 5 finds a block, the coinage multipler will reset for that input only. This is all done automatically, but you can modifiy its values in the .conf file.
I might have gotten stuff wrong, so theres a highly detailed staking guide bellow, But in a nutshell, the more coins you have in your wallet, the higher your odds are of finding a block. I've got 8500 coins and its been a few days yet and I still haven't found a block.
Please correct any mistakes I've made
Question 1: If my orange triangle says "staking enabled for 26 inputs weighing 34295 coin days, inputs 8 min. age, 18 avg. age, 0 max age". Do I enter 26 & 34295 into the calculator respectively or am I to devide the coins by its input before entering.
Q2: Sending money from the wallet resets the input time, but will depositing more money into my wallet do the same? I'm mining this coin have 8000 in a staking address and I'm depositing 50-100 coins daily into a mining address.

This is now getting beyond stupid!!!!

Everything was perfect the whole day. System crashed. Shut down, then started up again. ALL other wallets working perfectly well ACCEPT for TZC wallet.

Exact same thing just happened again with the exact same code in db log.

WTH?

EDIT: Full sync takes nearly the whole day as my internet isn't THAT great. 10mb/s ADSL line.

follow these steps and see how you get on.

1 - start Trezarcoin-qt and let it sync till it's 100% complete
2 - find your data directory for Trezarcoin-qt  and make a copy of it
2.1 - This way IF your wallet crashes again you have a local copy of the blockchain you can just copy back into your data directory.

now lets work on the crashing.

Did you make a trezarcoin.conf  file ?     make sure you have  irc=0 in it.

also feel free to join our slack at   Trezarcoin.slack.com     - there's a support channel there and you'll get support much quicker.

Thank you. I did make the backup, at least that save me from re-syncing the whole wallet the whole time.
I do have a conf file in the data folder, see below the conf file info.

Any chance to improve the wallet to deal with corrupted blockchain files due to improper reboot?
Some other wallets detect this situation and resync blockchain without the need to delete files manually?

There is an option to rebuild all data bases from the existing block files. Use it.

Hello, I want to get started with mining some trezar coins.
I'm trying to join the slack channel but it asks me for a password for that workspace.

What is the minimum amount of coin needed for PoS?

I think the minimum is 100. But don't even expect to be rewarded with some PoS blocks with this amount. For my analysis, the minimum amount to have some PoS blocks sometimes is 10.000 coins.

From my memory, I can quote Chekaz (or another member, not sure) :

Quote
Consensus seems to be that TZC staking is rewarding about 15% per year.  A block is worth 100 coins. So for example if you had 100,000 TZC you would expect to gain around 15,000 TZC in a year, which is 150 blocks.  There are 365 days in a year, so you'd average a block every ~2.43 days.

So, if you have 10,000 coins you can expect one block every 24 days .... remember it's a probabilist calculation ;-)

Does anyone knows if there is some risk with our personal wallets in our personal computers with the last hardware vulerability problems concerning chips ?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/two-new-hardware-bugs-affect-most-devices-private-keys-vulnerable

I personnaly encoded my wallet with a strong password, very hidden from potential steal ... i saved my private keys in a very hidden location hard to hack ... i saved my wallet.dat so many times in many different places ...

First of all, I'm not a security expert, so keep that in mind...  Cheesy

But AFAIK, the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities are not likely to increase the existing risks for "personal wallets in our personal computers". If you have not applied any OS-level and browser-based updates/patches, there is some potential increased risk--e.g., if you happen to go to a site that has a browser exploit.

For vulnerabilities at the cloud level though, the risk concerns are currently less clear. Although most of the major cloud computing providers seem to have patched their systems, the depth of the Spectre vulnerability means there is potential for variant exploits to emerge going forward. And these types of vulnerabilities are perhaps most dangerous in a cloud environment.

Not sure if that answers your question, but hope it helps.

The 15% a year is given is just a matter of "when" or "how often" you find a block but regardless I will still have the 15% a year?

I agree. Depending how the rollout of the new features and core upgrade goes this coin is in a great place. For it to hit $1 it will only need a market cap of $86 Million, which means it will (currently) only need to break in to the top 100 to do so, but by the end of 2018, 86 million market cap might not even push a coin in to the top 100 anymore.

You don't understand. I mean that good wallet nowadays should detect corrupted blockchain file (or other stuff) and reindex automatically (or ask user to do this) or even make total resync from scratch if needed.

Not sure but I see that the current 100 coin have a 330M market cap, so shouldn't TZC gets more then 86M to break top 100?

I think you are looking at top 100 coins/tokens. I meant coins only. I guess I wasn't clear. Sorry. It would only have to break somewhere around top 240/250 on that list.

you need to use windows update.

MS say in last patch can fix that problem.
