@dev: found a minor issue.

after you had a bluescreen or a freezed computer the trezar wallet crashes on startup. you have to resync the entire chain. this is the only wallet with such issues.

There are a lot of such wallets. Some are more resistant to falling systems, some less resistant.

It's indeed very annoying. But isn't there some bootstrap file available for the blockchain so you don't have to download it entirely from scratch?

You can try running with rescan. Since the information is still on the disk and, as a rule, an error in the last record, if the system reboot was at the time of synchronization.

There are a lot of such wallets. Some are more resistant to falling systems, some less resistant.

It's indeed very annoying. But isn't there some bootstrap file available for the blockchain so you don't have to download it entirely from scratch?

Yes, this does happen to some wallets and it does appear related to ungraceful wallet shutdowns (eg, PC power failures, etc.). The dev team has acknowledged this concern and have expressed that it is on the radar for future improvement.

In the meantime, most users have had great success using the following suggestions:
  • Run the wallet with the -rescan and/or -reindex parameters (be aware reindex may take many minutes possibly 20+ for some).
  • Backup wallet.dat and rename or move the /data folder. This is like a reinstall and will re-download the blockchain. When it completes, close wallet and swap out wallet.dat and then reopen application.

People have also suggested periodically making a copy of the (I believe) /blktree and /blocks folder to keep around as a semi-bootstrap to shorten resync times.
You could also try simply backing up the entire /data folder (which contains the folders above) periodically.

Best of luck!

The devs are working on x64 version of the wallet. think this will solve a lot of this things.  switched wallet from old system win7 x64 8gb ram to win7 x64 24gbit ram with amd ryzen processor, wallet running smooth with 1.000.000 trezar, doing about 800 trezar /day. Stay tuned Smiley

is there any plan to hide transactions in the blockchain ? For a privacy coin this requirement is a MUST! we cannot accept people being able to see information about other wallets...

I need some help. Started staking 4 weeks ago.. Worked fine and received some coins.
Now since 1 week it stoped. Staking symbol in wallet shows:

Staking enabled for 19 inputs weighing 8589 coin days
Inputs: 0 min. age, 0 avg. age, 19 max. age

What can i do? I have the wallet always open!

Wait and pray, really. You have a very small amount of coins, around 600 by my calculations. It is only natural that your chance of hitting a PoS block are very low. After all, you will get a 15% boost if you do.

Also, keep in mind that this is an stochastic process, i.e: there is a random component around it. I for instance have spent around 14 days without getting anything and all of a sudden mined 2 blocks in a matter of hours...

Oh, or you could buy more coins, of course.

Really? Does that make sense?
So if you have 1,000 coins, you would expect to see a daily PoS?  Huh
Each stake reward is 100 coins...
So a daily stake for someone holding 1,000 coins would mean over 3,500% annual ROI...

There is a matter of scale involved here...

You will need to keep the wallet open in order to actually hit a stake reward.
But there are no other "penalties" for closing a wallet--it will not reset your coin age, prevent maturing (of coin age), etc.

Good luck with your staking!

You won't see daily reward if you owe only 1000 coins. The more coins you own the higher chances to get stacking reward. To see reward daily you will need something like 100k coins.

Yes, there is definitely active development.
Test output from an upcoming feature was teased on the TZC twitter account within the last few days.

I am under the impression that the code will be pushed to the github closer to release?
But not sure, feel free to ask the dev/team for a more official answer.
(They are often on Slack, etc. if you want a faster response.)
