The least that a person can do while prices are falling down is to stay calm. There is no need to go crazy and do panic selling which mostly people do. Well, for sure it will back to the track on its stabilized value which it is already proven many years. As of this moment bitcoin is still increasing and already reached $20,000 but somehow it fluctuates due to some investors might have there own taughts and speculations about bitcoin. Price movement in a volatile market is like that, the price will pump and it could also dump but being strong to hold would help you to have more success in the future
I think the best strategy is that don't be panic when you saw price is keep down. When price is 100 percent down then you should buy more and then hold it. When price is keep going down you have opportunity to buy more... But don't buy so fast because usually when price is keep going down so you don't know how much it's still falling so better to wait. |

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling. Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
We can see that the market is falling dramatically, prices of bitcoin and altcoin are falling extremely strongly from the beginning of 2018 to the present time. Bitcoin prices are at 8500 and are still on the decline, though today there are signs of a slight recovery. Therefore, at times when the market is running like now, we should get out of USDT and wait for the market to recover again to continue trading. |

We just still will keep hold our asset (Bitcoin/altcoin) in this situation, I believe the price of Bitcoin/Altcoin will be increase again like the end of the years 2017. So don't be panic when the price was falling like this. |

Thats right, it is depends in situation and the value of bitcoin. If bitcoin is fall the solution of this situation is just hold and buy bitcoin until is the price of bitcoin is fall and if bitcoin is up again it is good to you because, you hold your buy bitcoin until it grow up and increase you bitcoin in your wallet. If the price is falling don't be scared or panic just give time and be calm on what happen in the situation. |

That's right, depending on the situation we make the decision whether to sell or continue to hold them. I think if the market is falling at a price you think is profitable compared to when you bought it. I think you should sell them. But if you buy higher than the current price I think you keep on holding. The Crypto market is never a bubble. They increase and decrease bonuses. That is the rule in Crypto. |

When prices fall - you need to sell at the very beginning of the fall, and then buy at the bottom. If the sell did not have time and prices fell heavily - then only wait until prices again rise.
For me the best thing to do when the prices are falling is dont panic we should not panic because panicking can lead to make a wrong decision and for me the only thing we can do is to hold our coin and wait until the value is we will pump. |

Just hold, don't scare  At first don't be panic. Stay strong and find insights of price falling. If no justified price fall, then buy again to average price. If negative news is available, sell and stop loss Everyone knows that cryptocurrency have a big potential right now. It will go up for sure in some months. |

I think you should hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Neo and sell other altcoins and buy bitcoin or Neo. No matter whatever happens hold these coins don't trade and do other things such as signature bounty and other social media bounties.

For me when bitcoin price was falling i must avail to hold my coins to make it more valuable because time passes comes i know that it will recover so that all i need to have is to wait for it because process of recovery is already done and happening at the same time it can also increases. Holding your coins is for better so that when price falling i know how to do so and i am prepared for that. |

So if your in a plus, and the coins you have start to fall, and you are fast enough, you can sell it. After you sold it, you can wait when the dump hits the bottom, then you can rebuy with the same amount more coins. Thats how successfull trading works. But the problem is, its very hard to find the right time. YOu never now if its a huge dump or not. Maybe you will sell it, and seconds afters it will rise higher than every before. So thats whats happend a lot to me, and thats why i prefer to hold!
