That's not "rock solid" or stable and could be interpreted as a poor attempt at market manipulation.

This platform has massive potential, there are so many variations as to how you can setup an event, and a myriad of customizations. Where is this startups physical location, and is the ICO selling a token or a security? Can American investors participate in the initial coin offering?  This project is a sight for soar eyes.

Eventchain could disturb all the tickets distributors and change the system of this sector. The idea is good, the platform is a necessity so if the team is honest and work hard could really become interesting.

Well, that is right, the whitepaper doesn't talk about where would you get your own revenue, will you charge a percentage of the profit from the artist? its the only way I think you will make a profit from this service if you don't charge fees, the token is EVC, so we will need EVC to buy the tickets? because people will simply use fiat currency, they won't waste time on creating an ethereal account, buy ethereum, then buy on exchanges EVC, then send it to the app, and then buy the tickets, that will drive the buyer away, unless you offer discounts on the price if they use EVC, rather than USD, so could you explain how this will work? I ask this because I want to know why the token will rise in value, if few people use it, it won't grow in price; you must remember guys that people invest in blockchain projects because they will generate revenue, no investor here will support a project just for philanthropy alone, we need a way to make a profit too, and you guys need to tell us how we will get it from your project, I think this is a good idea, but we need the details.

Im just wondering if EventChain wants to succeed, they will have to put up a huge advertisement campaign to attract individual event organizers to use their platform because there are some whales ticket companies out there. Unless they convince a big ticket provider to use their technology and get some fees.

Do I understand correctly that you can also buy the tickets on the EventChain platform with fiat currency? So I guess the fiat will be instantly converted to EVC Tokens in the background or how does the currency conversion work?

Event goers can purchase SmartTickets directly on the EventChain network through a variety of payment gateways. Ideally, EVC Tokens will be used primarily for SmartTicket purchase but other ERC20 tokens including Ether (“ETH”) may also be accepted. Event managers will also have the capability to accept fiat currency for SmartTicket sales through payment gateways.

For more read just read whitepaper. whitepaper available on eventchain website.

i hope you understand.

Dev said that, they are not charging ticket buyers only.

Just few posts before he told, fee process.

"Addressing the confusion regarding fees, the misunderstanding is that fees will not be passed on to the customer. There is no reason a ticket buyer should pay a fee just to buy a ticket. However, if a marketplace wants to add fees and other added value like insurance or whatever then fees could be acceptable to buyers. As a rule though EventChain has no need to charge fees since we are the event hub, so promoters will pay us a fee to promote and deploy their events etc. This is the gist of the fees structure."

Exatcly.

Now ticketing business companies, take fees from both customers and promoters.

So cost would not be different for promoters. But customers will ask no-fee ticketing system in their behalf.

The Alpha is just a test platform. There was no real selling for any event yet, as far as I know.
The alpha platform is, as it says, just an alpha to show potential investors how the platform will work and how you can buy tickets on it.

That would be beneficial for everyone. Right now we have to pay a hefty fee for online bookings.

What hard cap and soft cap? And how many tokens will be in total?

55 million EVC hard cap total.

this is one reason I like it. low cap ICO's are always the best. low supply = high price in the long run

Is there any Revenue simulations/scenarios available to Project the benefit from Investor perspective?

Correct! That is the idea, although we have to evaluate the price mechanics a bit more thoroughly. Fundamentally we will be acting as a dedicated EVC exchange.

I really like that. To be able to pay with fiat in the beginning will help to establish EventChain. I know a lot of people who would be really interested in the project but have no idea of cryptos, smart contracts or the blockchain technology. So for them it is great that they can just buy their tickets as usual with fiat. After a while, when crypto currencies become mainstream, they will switch to EVC tokens eventually due to all the benefits it's offering to pay with them.
