Hi Everyone!

I have some GREAT NEWS for everyone!

HackerOne are drawing to a close on their Private Challenge and not one bit of private data has been compromised or accessed by their team of awesome hackers!

They found a handful of little bugs, but did not gain access to private keys, wallets, user data or anything scary. That is a HUGE relief for all of us.

The HackerOne Challenge officially finishes on Monday and we are now rolling out the last of these little bug fixes and we will be launching (ahem!, cough! RE-launching) Electroneum by the middle of next week!

We have not been idle while HackerOne were busy, we've made improvements to the look, feel and functionality of the website wallet system (which will enable iPhone users to make transfers until the iOS app is launched) and the Android app, and we've been contacting hundreds of potential partners to ensure we have some joint ventures already negotiated for once we are up and running. Hopefully by the time we launch next week, we will have something signed and have our first public partnership(s) in place.

I'd like to thank everyone for their patience, after seeing NiceHash hacked for $64m USD just yesterday, I was glad we made the tough decision to engage HackerOne.

I cant believe how many people are saying things like "they are doing a good job" or "give them credit for a quality product" when so far all we have is a monero crypto with the name scribbled off with a sharpie and electroneum written underneath
oh wait.. we don't even have that.. all we have is a defunct blockchain gaining height while a few miners and no actual users utilize the chain of this botched crypto turned scam that keeps the coins safe by design. now if they are concerned that their shitty website is compromised, then why not keep everyones coins on the chain instead of whatever "bitcoin account" they are developing and allow users access to keys holding their coin if they by some strange incidence are a subspecies of human that actually prefer to have unfettered access to their currency.. while the people who need an app with a pretty little box saying how many coins they have directly below their username and a quick little bio of themselves that say things like "this coin is a success" can wait for that day to come.

if they are not a scam then why do they insist on acting like one

also, someone please explain where the $40 million went? there wasn't any actual crypto R&D for this coin, and their website could not have been more than $39.5 mil tops

it seems the only investment these people have actually made is in their image.. literally, all they have are pretty graphics and a sweet name


just some advice from someone who has been scammed too many times to count: for every honest person in the crypto world there are 10 dishonest ones looking to make a quick buck

Watch out!

The Electroneum evangelists will come after you and say 'but LOL they hired HackerOne and ETN is going to the moon'. I don't see why they can't see past these issues or why they are tolerating over a month of no wallet access, or appallingly low-quality video productions, or the lack of an app, or the fact it's a Monero clone.

I would also debate 'pretty graphics' - the logo is dreadful, OMG a lightning bolt in a circle, whatever next!

Let's not get started on 'mobile mining' - where the actual miners will basically run and secure the network so people who happen to own a smartphone get free coins...

Also, I'm new to crypto so forgive my ignorance. But let's assume for a moment they are scammers that wanted to run off with the money. What exactly are they to gain by dragging this out over several weeks, giving updates (albeit very shallow ones) and giving interviews on camera, let people visit their office exposing more of yourself?

Couldn't they just let the hack happen, say the project was a failure, end it and take the money?

Again, forgive me if I'm thinking to simplistically.

Their ICO funds are locked for 12 months so they have everything to gain by pulling the wool over everyones' eyes and dragging this facade out. Also Richard Ells is barely believable as a human being, let alone someone who deserves to have raised lots of funds in an ICO; if you believe that bumbling idiot should have a business that raised $40M in an ICO then you have been truly done over by the cult of Electroneum. I guess he is believable as someone with a background in marketing, that's why they got to where they are and sucked all these people in.

Not necessarily.. most coins get pumped on pure hype and there is no reason to think that wouldn't happen to ETN.

I don't agree with you my dear friend electroneum has made a revolution in the crypto world it  has a good team with creative ideas and a lot of crypto maniacs consider this ico one of the best icos this year.

Just got an e-mail from Richard ellis saying that HackerOne will be done with the security testing by Monday next week and the re-launching date will be sometime next week.

LOL you cant pull out anything. Noone who invested in ICO so $40 millions cant do anything with their money. Today that BTC and ETH are worth way more then only $40 millions. They should return the money. It is an obvious SCAM.

Electroneum looks like a scammy shit right now they cant even fix the wallet issues,they intended to be a successful coin but they cant,poor developers and management,a lot of investors losts their money by joining their ICO.

Is that true ? I have not seen anything in the latest offer of electroneum developers. What actually happened to electroneum? I will soon be careful of electroneum.

I did say invested AFTER the ICO via Cryptopia. That means I CAN pull out my money if I wish to do so.

There is no revolution. The only thing new is the amount of hype they generated and number of people they duped.

No-one (what exactly is a crypto maniac?) has seriously considered this to be a good ICO. Please show an example of said creativity (which is about the least you’d expect from a marketing firm with no background in crypto).

I honestly don't know about the future of electroneum. It has been pumping for quite a few days without any new substance. Anything related to crypto has been pumping lately. You should definitely consider shortening your position soon for the correction coming.

The pump is speculative hype with the wallets allegedly launching soon. I’m sure the crypto rise is just tracking BTC though not everything was up.

People mining it, people buying those mined coins when they know millions of coin will flood the market at some point.

I saw the Electroneum app on the phone of a friend who doesnt follow cryptos.  Asked why, he said he was told to get involved by someone who works at major bank.  If/when it launches I believe it maybe the crossover coin for the mainstream adoption of cryptos.

Pool mining, but will be considered as micro-earnings.
They mostly target regular or casual smartphone users who want to experience "cryptomining".
there are too many possibilities. But the Team, I think, aren't good enough.

Not that I care a lot, I only solo mine ETN at the first and second day then never continued because of this "short delay".
I'm going dump all my coins right after the launch their mobile wallet.

I have no doubt electroneum is definitely legit not a scam, after i research about electroneum in there website and read the development of their project it's pretty good and amazing. This project will be huge one next year and i read also that they've been transparently open to their users and community through social media accounts. The potential of this project will succeed in future.
