Is Electroneum a SCAM???

I think it's not a scam, I think ETN has a good quality in the world of cryptocurency. because a while ago I took part in the investment and this is not bad.

It’s not a scam. Electroneum is profoundly easy and even convenient to do, you can mine on a mobile app. It’s really more attractive and special than any other cypto currencies. It is more flexible than bitcoin due to small transfer charges. If you are curious about ETN, you can read the white paper through its big project, you will have more knowledge about ETN and understand the difference between ETN and bitcoin .And even you will be interested in it very much.

I know a guy who invested in Electroneum, and he's somehow making a profit out of it in the past few months (I think he invested October last year). I say it's not a scam. It may look sketchy, but if someone's making a profit out of it through investing and mining, then it should be good.

Where is the marketing? I doxed the dev team, which wasn't too hard when they post all their LinkedIn. They are big players in the internet marketing industry in England. They can do it for free!?! So I asked, "why aren't you marketing this ICO?". He said, "they are and more is coming." Do you see any marketing? WTF.

It's not a scam but I think it does not have a bright future ahead of it. Too much supply and I know that sooner a coin similar to these concept will launch their ICO and use to their advantage of having a low supply.

scam or not it is difficult to answer this question, so many projects need to be analyzed and risked, these are crypto-currencies it is always a business with a high risk

Where pay with ETNs  ( Electroneums )?  I want pay with mobile in my country and pay by ETN.
Buy tickets, eat in restaurant pay in ETNs currency. Pay taxi, pay in stores, pay in internet for goods..

I found Electroneum is trade only in Cryptopia co nz,, thats bad..

Inventors must add theyr tokens/coins  to other MARKETS and trade on
Bithumb + Bitfinex  + Bittrex  + GDAX  + Coinone +  HitBTC +  Kraken  + Korbit
and others..

But first, PEOPLE MUST pay in shops, internets, stores,, and not only HODL coins in their wallets..

As you can see, you are the only one in the thread asking if electroneum is a scam or not and it got my attention because I am on of its supporters and as I read your question I figured out that you see the answer to yourself which is good. This lessen my urge to defend electroneum and made me happy for a doubter become also one of its proud supporter. So the obvious answer is YES and for does who still asking if it is a scam, near in the future you will find the answer.

how can you justify it as a legit crypto when its ico raised $40 mil to develop a technology that was already developed?
there is not 1 single thing ETN did that was new except ripping off opensource tech and changing its name

someone made $40 mil and gave you a pile of poo

and sending out friendly emails encouraging you they are not scamming you is by no means proof of anything other than that they want you to believe they are not scamming you while ultimately delivering nothing
this is a trait 100% of scams share

the only way this is at all wrong is if ETN releases some kind of long awaited platform that actually does any of the things ETN promised it would do. and even then it would fall short cause it would be in the form of a distribution app and not a mining one which is what their claim was in the first place. so even then its a bit of truth built on a lie
sorry but i cant see how this can ever be conceived as real by someone who is not emotionally and financially invested in this .. it is such a far cry from what it was promised to be

I hold some, so I 'win' if it all takes off, but I do think it's a poorly-managed and executed shambles and all social media posts have been drumming up hype rather than technical explanations. The perma-airdrop is not 'brilliant', I don't think handing stuff out for doing next to nothing (running an app on a smartphone) is going to add value - it will bring users but what value is there if everyone has something. Do you think any Ferrari would be as desirable if it was as common as a Ford Focus?

Well they say "Dont judge a book by it's cover maybe they were just busy doing things like fixing some few bugs. I personally taught that electroneum was a scam when i didn't get the free 5000 ETN but i guess it was a propaganda cause i only got that information in facebook.   ETN is popular in fb especially with indians, arabs and Filipinos. I guess that motivated the founder to continue the ICO. Who knows this ico might succeed or not.

strong words above and as a hodler of electroneum since the ICO I am getting a bit skeptical.
I wanted to visit their site to refresh my thoughts on where we are supposed to be with this project and im getting "Error establishing a database connection"
anyway i have to agree somewhat with the above but should we give electroneum longer to establish what they want to achieve?
I hope it will come down to useability especially by the 100,000 facebook followers and others,
thats the bottom line really

I am still lucky because DIME went up also
