Rumour its satoshi himself behind this coin

Dude Smiley you are such a bullshitter, why don't you just knock it off?

If something, you're making a disservice to promising project, and a fool of yourself.

hi, im using the webwallet now ( my ellawallet),
But is there a windowsdesktop wallet?
I would find it much safer, then i can put a backup of the wallet.dat file on a stick.
I asked in their discord chat and someone answered me, they will release a GUI wallet soon. If you are using myEllaWallet you have to save your keystore file, there's no wallet.dat for ethash coins.

And if satoshi would be behind this project, I don't think this would be a ethash based coin  Roll Eyes  Grin

The Satoshi and Vitalik rumors are funny, but main dev is still anonymous. They obviously know what they are doing with an ETH related coin though.

My question is, why do any of the new coins that show any promise have people coming in asking what makes the crypto different? Ella right now has pure donation based development. And small donations at that.

One big difference. There is very little moon/lambo talk in the somewhat active chat. And its more how can we do this or that with the blockchain. There are a couple of recent coins Ella is emulating right now, which sets this crypto in good company in the near future. Bitcoin wasn't created to be a cash grab, and Ella being so new has no way to be a cash grab either. Go into chat and see how the dev's treat Ella, its different and hard to articulate through a forum post.  Cool

Ellaismer sure is treating this project with a bit of mystery, I go with your guess.  Cool Whoever they are, anyone new looking through here, read closer to the first few pages to see how the main dev has handled this project from the start.

For those wanting to mine I am going to try to post some different sample .bat files on the official discourse. Easier for me to stick them in one location.

Example: dual mine ELLA and DCR using Nvidia / Claymore.

As long as they are quality videos. If I made a video of myself talking to a webcam, any potential investors would walk the other way

Baha - I guess its more of a question of what kind of "investors" you want.
Want people to buy mindlessly into a coin? Maybe you in front of a webcam would work.
Want big investor from corporate America or otherwise? Youll need a bit more.

IMHO at this point any press is good press - especially as ella is still a baby coin  at this point. But its going to be worth my while to HODL - especially because people love eth, and the whole thing is getting too bogged down.
Lets get a contract on the blockchain!
Finding a niche and doing a smart-contract to meet a need there is a great way to carve us into the annals of blockchain - how many other ETH forks have done it?
If so, they havent got publicity for it in the slightest...

Any press being good press could bring nasty results.

Relating this coin to ransomware, black market or that kind of stuff wouldn't help at all Wink

But I get what you mean, and ELLA is in a great spot to start showing its features.
