the majority of traders in China and other major markets such as the US, Japan and South Korea are still unaware that BTCC closed its trading platform voluntarily and other leading exchanges including Huobi and OKCoin, the two largest exchanges in China, are operating normally.

Chinese bitcoin and cryptocurrency news source CnLedger confirmed with OKCoin and Huobi representatives that they have not heard any new directives from the People’s Bank of China (PBoC) and Chinese financial regulators.

“Also note that BTCC previously listed ICO-Coin, a token specifically used to raise funds in ICO projects, issued by co-founder Yang. OKCoin and Huobi said they have not received notice from regulators and are operating normally,” said CnLedger.

It is likely that a panic sell-off by traders in China, South Korea, US and Japan caused the abrupt price drop as they mistakenly understood the closure of BTCC to a nationwide ban on bitcoin exchanges. It is important for traders and investors to understand that the ultimate plan of the PBoC and Chinese regulators is to provide and offer a licensing program for exchanges, not ban trading platforms.

I believe that a group of people is doing such type of activities which makes the BTC market again in fall. but this problem will not last forever. I think when they people will leave by selling their Bitcoin from this platform then the scenario will be changed. so Bitcoin is not going to be destroyed or end. this is the game of market. so you have to play very carefully.

We should think and act very carefully and don't be easily carried out on some speculative ideas coming from any news or thoughts in the forum. Btc was already attempted to drown by these group of people and we already surpassed last month of August and now their plans of taking it down again? Well that's too much. China surely has good influence on things these days and they also comprise a big portion of market. I do not think Bitcoin will end this month nor it will be destroyed.  This is the beauty of being decentralized, just like torrent files, it is hard to control since people around the internet have those pieces and as long as there is one person seeding it.  Same goes to bitcoin as long as there are people who believe in bitcoin it will never be destroyed.  It may plummet in price but it will never end.

Whenever there's a dump in the price of bitcoin regardless how big or small it is, some will go speculate that it is the end of bitcoin. One more thing is that they happen to co-relate the events happening around the globe and one of those is the ICO ban in china. Sure, the ban of ICO in China has a factor on the current price. But we must understand that it is normal for Bitcoin to dump and pump. A certain coin such as bitcoin cannot pump when it wont dump. If it would stick to the 4000$-5000$ price, it cannot pump a much higher price than that. I don't see anything wrong about the pumping and dumping price of bitcoin. We'll see on the next few days.

Yes, bitcoin will rebound soon. This ICO ban is temporary, and before the year ends and all issues is cleared, we will be seeing bitcoin on the rise again. Just relax and monitor whats happening, Bitcoin as another update this November.

I guess it is true that there's a group of people who wants to make the BTC Market fall again. But it is very hard for them to do that. Just hold and observe whats happening. Don't let your minds deceived by the rumors and fake news. Bitcoin will not end or destroy.

It just another trick by whales to let our guard down. This is the only way for them to grab a lot of bitcoin. im bet with the current price on the market. They will buy a lot. Dont fall with this old trick. The panic sell from investor just make the whales more money.. Honestly, I don't know how to react on this. I am scared as hell but I won't sell at this point. Did you guys remember the price between Feb and March of this year? That is my basis in HODLing my BTCs... if the price goes lower than that range, I will definitely say goodbye and move on.

I am in a big trouble, dude. ha ha ha! I had left my day job a few months ago to focus on my home-based job that pays me bitcoin; today, the value of my salary to fiat went down balls-deep, and honestly, that doesn't feel right. It is very difficult to predict the continuity of bitcoin after China announces ICO bans and recently one of the famous exchange in china BTCC exchange will stop all trading in early October. Just wish the best of bitcoin later.

My conspiracy theory is that China wants reduce the price of bitcoin cash's price so their countrymen can buy at lower price. Then start promoting again.

yeah it can be true since they know that their country is one of the biggest investors of bitcoin and since chinese people are likely born to become a businessman, this is their strategy then they will buy bitcoin again when it decreases and sell when it increases. Right now, the Bitcoin market is riding on a big ship of negative news and nobody can say when this ship will finally be docked so we can move on and let this time be just another down history for our digital currency. The whole cryptocurrency market is affected because of what is happening with Bitcoin. People are encashing their hoard of Bitcoin so they can escape the heat while, of course, there are also many like me who are just "HODLing" what they got thinking that they can weather this big storm...which we will.

This is akin to suffering the power of Irma...there would be destruction everywhere...but ultimately we can get on our feet and rebuild. The same here in Bitcoin. In the past, Bitcoin also crashed yet after some time the recovery took hold. We just have to strengthen our mindset on Bitcoin as it will not go away. Remember that just last year...the value was at $500...and just after many months it escalated.

This is the trial stage for Bitcoin and we should stand united for it and HODL
