Due to your recent issues with td I have opened an account with another bank in order to send my payment. I have sent multiple tickets in an attempt to ensure there will be no delay or issues due to my money coming from a new account but I have not received a response nor has the money been credited to my account. Is everything ok over there?

Everything is fine here. We're hoping to have the TD Bank issue resolved soon. In the meantime, if you want to send me your username in a personal message, I can look into your situation and make sure there are no delays.

Is this really what's going on with the price? We've overtaken gox and stamp. Crazy! This low volume is sort of worrying though. ..

If cavirtex becomes a bull exchange others will come to sell
I'm just sad that the easy first buy then sell for profit age of cavirtex is over
Instead cavirtex will be a place we can take our cash to buy

Price is spiking hard beyond gox again! This would be a great time to have one of those virtex debit cards on hand;)

Not once one factors in the 0.9595 CADUSD rate.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

At least it's getting reasonable. Up until the last couple days it was noticeably cheaper to sell on Bitstamp and wire the money from the UK than it was to sell on Virtex.

Do you have any updates on the timeline for the Vtx shorting fund? With the price rising so quickly now would be a very good time to have shorting open to your customers!

Our developers are working on shorting as fast they can. We're hoping to have it by the end of November.

The withdraw BTC function has been temporarily disabled while we makes some upgrades, which are required due to the recent increase in volume. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Any plans to revisit your fee schedule again? Not to keep harping on it but I would love to use CaVirtex but I can't justify the 1.5% fees, and the price breaks are ridiculous. I'd have to do CDN$120k in volume and pay $2k in fees just to hit the first break down to 1.4%. The same kind of volume on Bitstamp would drop your fees from the initial 0.5% to 0.22%.

I would be very much interested in this as well; I'd like to do more frequent short-term trading on cavirtex but the current fee schedule makes that impractical.

Any chance of having the debit cards reload automatically? I know it can be hard to set up a system that sells BTC instantly for debit transactions but what about setting up a pool of something like $500. Then when I use the debit card a sell order automatically goes through on my account and tops up the account back to $500?

We have no plans for this right now, however, we will soon be enabling instant 24/7 loading of the cards through your Virtex account.
