In five years bitcoin will be 5 times more than the price today so it mostly be on 20000$ that may not as huge as most prediction being thrown by many members but I'm just exercising my own right and opinion. It is nowhere be called to be exaggerated and can be achieved before that 2022, exactly 5 years from now.

such an opinion is appropriate for bitcoin because it sees the very rapid progress of technology as well as bitcoin itself,
just imagine in the year 2015 bitcoin prices are still far below the current price but in 2 years bitcoin can increase up to many times

No one could really tell what Bitcoins worth would be in the future or even next year but some do have speculations saying it could reach to $100,000 around 5 years from now. I personally think it is possible it will reach that amount just as long as Bitcoin is put in good use and as long as people use Bitcoin as its sole purpose and not use it negatively. Hopefully by year 2022 Bitcoin would be 10x as its current price now, crossing my fingers and holding on to more bitcoins.

I'm very optimistic about future of bitcoin.

I am optimistic too but I have some worries about the future, especially after this recent Chinese ICO ban and possible BTC trading ban.

2 years ago value of bitcoin was only $200 and last year around $700.
Today, even with this recent big drop, btc price is still much higher than last year.
So, regardless of the occasional higher falls, bitcoin prices are constantly increasing every year.
I expect that such trend will continue and that we will reach price of $10 000 very soon

The Chinese government and People's Bank of China are paranoid enough to block every possible cryptocurrency because they are afraid that wealth will leak out of China.

Let's say that the average price of bitcoin in 2010 was 0.04 USD. Let's also say that the average price of bitcoin in 2017 was 2000 USD. This gives a 4 times increase each year, on the average. If this increase in bitcoin price will continue, then in 2 years its average price will be 32000 USD. Some say that in 5 years the price will be 100000. In my opinion this is believable. It could be better than this, 1 million price for bitcoin in 5 years is also believable.

Bitcoin continues to grow and is making adjustments to be more acceptable by many people. so with that development, its value will also continue to increase over time, and I think in the next 5 years bitcoin will be more in use more people than we imagine now.

personally, im not too sure about that; people have been, and are always looking for a superior alternative. namely, the 'big' attempts so far have been litecoin and ethereum, neither of them able to replace bitcoin. however, they have proved their points; bitcoin is severely limited in what it is capable of, and with something as innovative as ethereum, the gap between the popularity of bitcoin and these altcoins is closing. who knows, in a few years, one of these coins might just be both appealing and practical enough that it pushes bitcoin aside and takes over.

there's no telling what happens in 5 years; sure, we can extrapolate a generalization and say that the price will rise overall, but the events of the last few weeks are quite telling. there's absolutely no telling what will happen to the price of bitcoin in the following years. as bitcoin and cryptocurrencies gain traction around the world, governments and groups are forced to take a stance on them. we've been left alone for a while now, but as that begins to change, i can see bitcoin going either way.

Transaction speed has already improved, you can see that there is only a few thousand transactions unconfirmed. That also means tx price can be lowered. The future of bitcoin is bright, aside from a few bumps from FUD, the price should soar very high in the next five years.

In five years time i think that Bitcoin would still break the all time high value as per Wall Street Journal analyst they can see that Bitcoin would be in more higher level not only high but super high as per their prediction it would reach around $55,000.00 that sounds so interesting and i hope that would come true. Time to invest in bitcoins now.
