This coin is interesting. It has a fast adjust on the difficulty. I wonder if it got a botnet-like surge in hash rate  followed by complete abandonment (like chinacoin and feathercoin) if it would get stuck at high difficulty or not? Maybe it can't be pumped and dumped?

another "theoretist" here. yes yes no time and not worth it, please go away, retard!

again: prove it or keep your mouth shut! It's as simple as that. Too many people who know only to talk, this is the problem, idoits!

Holy shit. Because calling people names makes for such a strong argument... and theory (ie. thought) is so retarded...Huh WTF? What kind of lala-land thread is this? Lets all argue with our asses! Then we will all be "smart"!

Hey, I have an idea! How about we stop using physics "theory" to engineer stuff! Instead, we could just build bridges, microchips, etc slapping them together with whatever materials come first to mind in whatever way "feels" right at the time! It would be great! Because "theory" is so idiotic....

You know, these people calling "theory" idiotic are so on the ball! Satoshi would have way more success in inventing a robust, decentralized crypto-currency had he just made whimsical alterations to open payment systems already in existence and had not bothered to think about the theoretical aspects that could make a payment system robust.

The problem is, only act like a sheep following the crowd is useless. Saying this coin is vulnerable because of its short block time? prove it! break it! then everyone will be convinced.

The theories in the physics are proved by the experiments, pure theory without any proof is useless. Any complicated theory such as general relativity is proven. Knowing only talks and trolls is useless here.

This coin is not a theory, it is there running. Those called it a crap please prove it.

you make me laugh... the creator of this coin knows all the theories, it created the concrete coin running. Those who claimed it will fail because the 10 mins block time of bitcoin is well thought etc, do these people know anything? The 15-sec WDC has been running there successfully for more than a week and still running there, anyone broke it? Don't think with the ass, use your brain!

you make me laugh... the creator of this coin knows all the theories,

Great.  In that case, I would expect him to respond to a theoretical criticism of his coin, by pointing out a logical flaw in the theory, rather than expecting to win an argument by "your an idiot. prove it." <- ie. ass talk

The whole point of exploring theoretical aspects of a system is so that you can identify flaws that would be impractical to prove empirically, so that you can avoid future, difficult-to-predict, outcomes, for instance; the behavior of a system under extremely large volume of transactions, or tendency for a decentralized system toward centralization as it draws attention from larger players. Debating these theoretical aspects of a system is not "idiotic".

I would expect any prudent miner, when considering the adoption of a new coin, to be interested in understanding the potential theoretical weaknesses of that coin under future possible conditions that are presently impractical to simulate.

Debates are not made for the purpose of discovering "who" is right; but instead, "what" is right. When the participants in a debate let their insecurities drive them toward rhetoric over reason, then the debate becomes worthless. Rhetoric can win favor in a debate, but it defeats the whole original purpose of a debate.

talking is easy, everyone has his own opinions, it is perfectly fine. For me all these coins are like game, and in game sites you hear different opinions too, all by talk. Only in the real game there's not much talk, there are only actions, there's no respect to those weak ones who know only to talk in the forum, they get killed and raped in the game.

For this coin, it is created, it is running, it is not on the paper, it is real. So I'd like to see all those who said it's not working, it's weak, it's easy to be attacked, etc do something to prove that you are a hero, and not someone who can only copy something from other forums or threads, or only heard other people said. Do something there!

To all arguing about theory versus fact, please comment on my comment

OR

turn the power of your botnet onto the coin and see what happens???

Here is my comment,

It adjusts diff every (block time) hour, so I don't see any problems there.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?
