version of wallet is last compiled from git on ubuntu. all ok with blockchain, ie - pool working with that wallet just fine. there are more then twice of needed coins in this wallet. but when some user made over 40000 FST and tryed to withdraw it, fastcoind just replied with error 500 to sendtoaddress command with such amount.
I have found with fastcoin you need to limit the transaction amount to 10000 at a time. seems like so. at least if all coins in a wallet are generated locally coins. tryed with 13K - worked. with 20K - error 500. so for now added additional checking on all pool withdrawals - i.e when amount is more than 15000 - i process such withdrawals manually splitted with few transactions.

As i mentioned before - problem coming when all transactions in input chain are "generate" transactions. Its mean that all money were generated on same wallet from where i trying to send it. So, for 10000 transfer there are about 300 inputs, for 40K - 1200. On such situation fastcoind are replied with error on RPC command "sendtoaddress" with 40000 amount. but easy transfered that coins with 4 different 10000 transactions. Your example had only 26 inputs so it worked fine.

Are there ways to earn this coin without mining, maybe by writing or sharing links?

Anyone having problems with their fastcoin client?
I have 2 servers now where fastcoin has become unresponsive. fastcoind getinfo just hangs forever and does not return any results. If I delete the blockchain and all other data in .fastcoin (except for wallet and conf) it takes hours and hours to download block chain and does not solve the problem. While downloading the block chain fastcoind getinfo works until a certain point - near current block height where client becomes unresponsive...
Any suggestions - it is now affecting fastcoin mining on miningpool.co?

Hello FinShaggy, Thank you for your question. Yes you can earn FastCoin's many way's, users throughout this forum trade Fastcoin's among one another for goods and services. We have also noticed a recent rise with online gamers particularly in the younger groups where they place bets with one another during game-play and payout the winners with FastCoins. etc. You can also buy FastCoin's outright via the exchanges. You will require Bitcoin's however if you want to purchase FastCoin's via the exchange, one company in Canada that has done a wonderful job in making Bitcoin purchases as easy as possible is.... https://www.tinkercoin.com/Once you have purchased your Bitcoin's with them you can then purchase FastCoin's from... https://www.cryptsy.comWe at the FastCoin community are open to suggestions, as we proactively continue to grow the awareness of the coin we welcome any creative idea's you may have to further enhance the usability of the coin. Thank you again for your post, we look forward to your reply. Sincerely Cheetahx

Hello Ethought, Thank you for your post. We have not experienced the problem that you have brought up, however we could offer you some suggestions if you have not already done so. When we have reported these types of issues that are wallet related generally there are 2 things we check first before continuing the troubleshooting process. 1.) The reliability of your internet connection. This may seem to be an over simplification and may have nothing to do with your situation but its surprising how many users fail to do this which is why we are mentioning it here. Check to make sure you have a good stable internet connection, what we mean by this is a.) Good reliable stable throughput, typically Fiber Optics is superior, followed by High Speed Cable, with ADSL bottoming at near the lower levels. Verify that your ISP or internet provider is not blocking traffic, or dropping packets specific to the FastCoin or any Crypto currency for that matter to and from your sending station. FastCoin is a unique coin of all Crypto Currencies as it only takes 12 secs for it to complete one of the required 4 verifications. As a result of this the infrastructure supporting these verifications needs to stable and integral otherwise you can expect inconsistencies when wanting to implement mining process or simple wallet transfers. 2.) Verify that there no 3rd party software on your equipment that may be interfering with the FST wallet client, this can include firewalls third party spyware tools etc. These may need to be disabled or removed completely if they are found to interfere with your FST mining or wallet operations. Please let us know if any of this makes sense, if not perhaps we would require further details of your environment to get a better understanding with your specific issue. We look forward to your reply. Sincerely Cheetahx

Fastcoin pool at www.miningpool.co is up and running again - apologies for the downtime. The new stratum server is running on some decent hardware now (dedicated quadcore, ssd with 32GB).. So hopefully there will be no more problems with the fastcoin client becoming unresponsive. stratum+tcp://de1.miningpool.co:9203

http://fst.cryptominer.net/ is up. Thanks for the post Torzsy! We appreciate it! /C Thanks! Can we know anything about the future plans for FST? Have a nice day! No Problem Torzsy, We have very ambitious plans for FastCoin and are excited by its future prospects! We recently had the following article posted on Bloomberg news... http://www.sbwire.com/press-releases/introducing-fastcoin-the-worlds-fastest-bitcoin-alternative-gaining-traction-in-the-cryptocurrency-ecosystem-321018.htmSome of the members have also been recently interviewed for Radio and TV interviews talking about the potential of this coin. The community has already developed a mobile app version for Android and both PC and Mac clients are also available. www.fastcoin.ca will be closing its coin design contest soon and a winner will be announced in October. If you have not already entered your design it is not too late to enter.... http://www.fastcoin.ca/fastcoin-design-contest.htmlI know that additional development is in the works for an online store as well as mobile apps for the iPhone as well. I know the FastCoin team is trying to time these releases appropriately with media releases as well. In summary we are very optimistic about the future of this coin as we still feel it possess great potential! Thank you for your continued support! Sincerely Cheetahx
