Wrong.  You only get a share based on your hashing rate.  It may take longer to see the same reward in a smaller pool.  That being said sometimes the larger pools are targets of DDOS attacks.
Just try the pool for a day and see what you get.  If it looks wrong, it probably is.

Take care

The support in the fastcoin forum cannot be obtained because I can't register. Captcha is broken. Facebook has people asking about the wallet not syncing and they are told to go the the forum, which has people asking but no responses in days.

The wallet will not sync and says no source blocks found, 29 weeks behind. New wallet, no balance. Anyone able to help on this?

Wallet is fine. It syncs as it should.

Put this in your fastcoin.conf file. Look up fastcoin.conf if you do not know what it is

Thanks KPG99miner. It started sinking, albeit very slowly, I think it may take a day for it to do so. Isn't there a way for the devs to release a wallet that has a pre-configured config or some sort of launch file? Don't we want to see this coin widely adopted? How many of the general public are going to use a coin when they have to figure out how to create a config file? Anyhow, this is what I am using, let me know if I fucked something up. Not sure if it needed that "connection=9526" Thanks.
