Fastcoin is a great and fair coin. We need a pool that buy Fastcoin on the exchanges, mining e.g. Darkcoin. (The masternode implementation in Darkcoin is only a scam... ).
We must give attention to fair coins.

Is there seriously still no working block explorer?
Globalcoin is about the same price, has a better name, is fast at 40 seconds, is about the same price on Cryptsy and has a block explorer. Maybe FST volume should roll into GLC instead.
Also, has 70 million total coins vs 165 million and the subsidy halves much faster, so you do not have the level of dilution that you have in Fast over the next year.

The servers in which the block explorer are hosted went down temporally on 1st of July due to a prolonged power outage which ended up exhausting the UPS. If you hadn't noticed, the explorer is up. Also, the bitcointalk threads are not entirely used by those in the Fastcoin community. There is a fastcointalk.org forum for that. The majority of posts made by users on bitcointalk these days have been related to new pools or exchange notifications. Comparing between coins isn't new, I've heard plenty from other users which offer their differential opinions based on another coin, worldcoin for instance. Each coin has their differences, Fastcoin offers a very unique re-targeting scheme, many users simply have been dumping all their altcoins on exchanges in trade for BTC. Fastcoin is being used in real world situations now paired with it's android wallet. That being said, it's still fast, it's secure, the devs don't need to boast about racecars or worry about what the current exchange rate is, it's about the transfer of exchanged decimal places...fast. There is also no dilution, what has been originaly specified as the halving subsidy is quite simple, halving once a year, which now is rewarding 16 coins instead of 32. You'll also notice that the majority of the volume is not conducted via exchanges, rather it is from user to user, client to business, supporter to non-profit. This is what I like about Fastcoin.

Hey guys... Just started solo mining fastcoin and getting a lotta rejects and stale shares:( I know a higher % is expected with this coin.. But 30-40% seems way to high.
Here is my Cgminer settings...

i deleted --nocheck-golden and those rejects and stales went away.. i dont know why and i dont know what the command does.. but i dont really care either.. maybe try it .. get rid of these too --expiry 2 --scan-time 2 --queue 0 .. and add --no-submit-stale BTW.. im running about 5.5% rejects, stales and hw on this coin

Dead coin if it's going to take 3+ days to sync the wallet on a fast network connection at this age. Downloaded the new wallet because of syncing problems on 2 PCs, after 24 hours I'm at 36 weeks behind with 12 active connections. I'm waiting to transfer coins to my wallet so this is a consumer complaint. If it continues, then what's the point?

It's been almost a week for me to try to sync up the blockchain from scratch. Grabbing a torrent is not a solution, especially when there's no up-to-date torrents.
Why bother downloading the block-chain even? Just send an ever-updating torrent file.

It's been almost a week for me to try to sync up the blockchain from scratch. Welp, took at least a couple days to work through April 2014. Now it's working very slowly through May 2014. I'm on 25Mbps+ connections.

Rusty only on Fastcoin it seems. No such slowness syncing wallets for Bitcoin, Franko, etc etc. edit: ISOLATED the issue, it's the 0.8.7.1 wallet. Sync slows down to a crawl after a few minutes.
Went back to 0.8.5.3 wallet listed in this thread, and chain sync stays fast even after 5 connections+. Sync now almost through the beginning of June 2014. edit: sync finally done with 0.8.5.3 wallet.
