I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

We cannot orient everyone about bitcoins because there are a lot of scammers out there like networking, Some are also creating black propaganda and that is the reason why other people are hesitating about bitcoins.

I think what you said is very right, now many people regard it as gambling, this behavior is totally wrong, we should take the currency as a way of investment, we can hold it to get profit

True, bitcoin is not a gambling. Many people say that it's a gamble because, some of us have tried to invest in it so when they scam they bit the bitcoin community. For me it can not be considered gambling, because sweat and investment are what you are here for you to earn enough money to use for your daily life expenses. Many people have been given the opportunity to use a bitcoin case, they quickly give up. In bitcoin we need more diligence and we should spend more time on it.

Its not gambling at all because there is no surety about profit or loss even the ratio of profit or loss will also be unpredictable and you used your knowledge and skills to earn so its closer to stocks exchange not the gambling

Gambling industry has got a major role in the growth of bitcoin. Because at the early days, bitcoin was much used on gambling. Later this got used in different forms from a transaction service to a value storage token and as an investment. Now this has changed as people has started understanding better about bitcoin.

For me it depends on person perception Bitcoin probably is gambling if you are doing day trade or short trade and during its ATH you bought  and when it goes down you don't know it you will sell for a loss or keep holding in that way you are already gambling your investment but if your are doing long term investment it would not be a g amble cause over time Bitcoin price is keep increasing so for me it is two way around

In my opinion Bitcoin is an investment which holds a risk of losing money which is somehow like gambling but I believe loss can be evaded and chances of loss is low.
Everyone has different skills mate as if a person is good at bitcoin gambling he will prefer it using for it but if he is good to invest then he will go for it, I think it is good to use all kind of investments in bitcoin as if you will invest in bitcoin it will give you money but for gambling it will be along with risk but will give you money not only lose just try to play well and have good sharp mind for gambling with your bitcoin.

Any aspect of the markets has an element of gambling involved with it, however, this has been a very very good bet...

Yep this is a investment but this is nice if you add some twist. Having fun sometimes is not bad. You can bet your bitcoin on some sites that will make your bitcoin experience more fun..

I hope nobody would get me wrong. I just wanna share my opinion on this topic. It is true that some people treat bitcoin as a GAMBLING or even SCAM. Maybe it's because of the risk we are willing to take. Just like in gambling, we do risk some stake to gain some in return, right? But using that term would not help BTC. It only makes it sounds worst right? INVESTMENT is the right term if I were to be asked. Just like in the real world, We are investing something for our future right? It's all the same here in the crypto world. The only difference is that where on the virtual one.  Smiley

I liken Bitcoin investment to stock market trading or real estate investment.
While in stock market, you invest in the company and have IPO, in Bitcoin/crypto currency you invest in the idea behind the coin. Eg in the privacy of monero or zec etc.Crypto has ICO as compare to IPO in stock market.
The similarity between all 3 industry I listed is, early investors always profit the most.

It is definitely not gambling because you buy something and you own coins so it is in your hands to sell it or not because gambling is just to bet on something.

Bitcoin is investing. Investing is gambling. Bitcoin is gambling. You should deal with it bro, you seem aggressive with your post. All in all bitcoin is gambling though for those who couldn't deduce the logic I spewed.

I never gamble on purpose, but there have been some crypto ventures that turned out to be more like gambling than investing. It's the nature of the beast right now. You try to do your due diligence and so forth, but there are an awful lot of scams out there. That's why you only invest what you can afford to lose. Same principle applies when gambling at a casino. Only take with you what you care to spend. Have a good time but leave the credit cards at home. Bitcoin generally has better odds, but still, invest your extra money, not your retirement or savings money.
