I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Indeed, bitcoin is not a gambling but rather its transaction. We could consider the bitcoin transaction as gambling because you must risk your money in order to gain profit. Bitcoin transaction could only be a gambling if we entered the transaction that we never been try before. |

Bitcoin is a gamble in a way but yeah in other way it's is not. Investment in Bitcoin now is not good because it's value is not stable if invest now and convert it in real money and then it's price increases then it's action that will take you towards the loss

Everybody have a different opinions in the world regarding the bitcoin. Because it is a digital currency not a real money and due to this reasons people Fear from it. But knowledge of bitcoin depends on thinking of the people. Bitcoin is a source of income of some people and somebody think that it is a gambling. No body can't change old thinking of people. Yes it change with time to time. But according to my opinion bitcoin can become a millionaire to that body who will invest in it.
Maybe some people think bitcoin is gambling because people take the risk of investing here as this involves money. And the risk of holding it for long term is really a courageous act as we still hold even though we didn't really know what can possibly happen. I’m a strong believer in bitcoins. But all investment is gambling.
Not so, but you said it a form of gambling. it is actually a chance for people to embrace change for people whom are not given the oppurtunity to earn a spot from works. It gives people oppurtunity on having a side job that don't require them a degree from college, and that don't require them to live in a specific environment because even in their own homes they could work through it. Just you needs a business mind and need to learn the ethics of trading. as far as I know that bitcoin is not a gamble, the gambling is its users. because in using bitcoin there are many options, especially the choice is gambling also exist. but if we want to use bitcoin for the reasonable also exist. it all depends on our choice when looking for profit. |

If you think about it, most things that we do in life is a gamble. The lessons we learn along the way just makes our chances better. Investments are always a gamble and bitcoin isn't much different from it. Its just that you give yourself a much better chance ny making appropriate preparations for it |

Yes your right, you cannot say bitcoin is gambling even you are taking risk you still do not waste your money because you are just investing your money so your money would grow. Many people do really misunderstands about bitcoin because they still do not try to use bitcoin because they think itbas a scam or a fraud. Bitcoin itself it's not gambling but trading with it could be, especialy if you don't know what are you doing. Trading and investing always have certain percentage of risk and there is always possibility to lose some funds. If you are not ready to accept that better don't even go into this. It depends how much you can and are willing to risk.

i think we can say it gambling, we spend a time to hold our own currency and we still thinking if the price will pump or dump. we gamble our time to think if it is the right time to exchange it or hold it in exact time. most of holders are doing this strategy.

I think some people thougth of bitcoin as gambling because it involves risk taking. But they should know that bitcoin is a digital currency which is now in demand and is used for investment, trading and gambling as well. It is not gambling per se but aids as an instrument in gambling.

I think the interpretation of meaning of bitcoin is based on the experiences of people with bitcoin . Those who got an instant profit or loss called it gambling and those who earned it by investing , trading and through forum etc. calls it a valuable and hard earned currency . Those who just call bitcoin is gambling maybe have little knowledge about it , or they were unable to understand it. |

When you say gambling is something like the wagering of money or something of value (referred to as "the stakes") on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning money. Just like when you invest in some crypto, just take the risk if you gonna earn or not. |

Those people who said it is still not know what bitcoin really is. They judge bitcoin of what they hear but they still not experience using it. Bitcoin is really not a gambling because it is a type of job where you can earn. The difference of it in the other job is your salary is a virtual currency not a real one but you can still use it. |

It depends on the definition  Currencies that can gain/lose 30% overnight are not standard 'trading' So I think we can define trading in crypto as a form a gambling. Some people also have steady returns with gambling. Is Poker gambling ? So again its on the definition you give to it yourself. |

Bitcoin is not gambling but many gambling uses Bitcoin so many consider it's gambling.
We can't consider bitcoin as a gambling, because bitcoin and gambling is a different thing, we can just use bitcoin to bet in gambling to earn bitcoin but it is not the same. I think the substance of what the OP wanted to say was if investing in bitcoin was a gamble, and with that i will say NO because it's consistently grown back up no matter the tumble in its price. There seems to be a global revolution for the demand of bitcoins and this has catapulted it's growth significantly within a short period. Well, if that's the case, investing in bitcoin is gamble? Well, I would also say no. Gambling is different thing in investing, we cannot consider them as the same since investing is depend on our knowledge and we can have our own decisions with it if we we're going to buy or sell it now. Gambling is when you will just let your money win for you of lose for you. You cannot control and handle situation. |
