There are a lot of altcoins in the market today. What should one look out for before investing in any altcoin
Very stupid and incorrect question. You all say that anyone who invests wants to make money and that's all the interest ends. |

I find it extremely difficult to rely on an emerging altcoin as a valid option to risk my capital, since over the years we have seen many projects that promise to have the potential to reach great heights, but gradually were turned off, and in turn we have seen projects lacking solid foundations.

I think we are well positioned to buy some well known coins, spread our money around the alts, and just hold. At least we're trying to do something with our crappy fiat money that IS losing value on a daily basis. |

I think we are well positioned to buy some well known coins, spread our money around the alts, and just hold. At least we're trying to do something with our crappy fiat money that IS losing value on a daily basis. Yes, plus crypto currency is that the coin can rise incredibly fast in the price. It is this feature that attracts me very much. Before investing in the project, I always study in detail the project itself, the development team and the project activity in the media. The study of the project should be given very great attention because recently a lot of scam projects have appeared. |

some things to consider before you invest in altcoin are about the concept that can be seen from altcoin that you will invest. because the well-focused concept contained from altcoin will greatly determine a very good future. besides the level of popularity of course will be a measure where will many investors who will invest on altcoin.

which prompted me to invest in altcoins is to make a profit, I guess there is nothing else in investing, they are definitely looking for profits in his investments. So usually the first thing I see is the movement of the coin and I never invest in the newly emerging altcoins, because I'm afraid the coin will die. Lol!

I think for me, the thing i look at when investing at any altcoin is about its technology. The technology on how it can affect our daily lives or how it can be so useful or how it can be a significant tech.
There's a lot of homework to do before investing on any altcoins. Because if you invest in any altcoin which you don't really understand its value or its technology or what its use case, Its like gambling for me.
I am so passionate about this kind of thing so i would like to share my simple guideline on how to approach the crypto world when investing specially on altcoins, specially the ICO stages altcoins.
first is i look for what its usecase. Is it significant ? how significant it is ? or is the industry it is in is significant ?
second thing is, is the industry it is in is big ? is it underserve or overserve ? what can you say about its competitors if it has ?
and the last thing is the team. Is this team is capable of delivering what is in, in its roadmap ? so you better look for an altcoin with experienced team. Or have a core team that has past experience on delivering this kind of tech before and have sold it.
that's it. That's my guidelines and i hope i helped a lot of newbie that read this post. Great DAY !

Technology is pretty important but I tend to focus on the project itself and what they are trying to undertake. Call me a tree hugger but I like helping out this world and will tag along with any project that is trying to do that. Makes it harder to make decisions sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. |

What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? The profit I get, which makes me eager to invest in altcoin is my brother, he shows me his monthly income to me and it is very tempting to me, and that I am eager to invest in altcoin, hopefully this can change lives I.

For me, investing in any altcoins here that we can see in bitcointalk is like supporting a new project and believing it will be a successful if we try to support it. We may not know what is the value of these altcoins but we believe its value will be of great amount. Discovering new things here in bitcoin makes you more knowledgeable and makes you updated in different things. |

Altcions prices are low now, so buy it at low price and hold them and maybe you will have good profit. But before read the whitepapers, look at the project teams.

My friend encourage me to invest in any altcoins since I started to joined this forum I really don't want to invest my money, 2 weeks after I join here because I don't really know how this forum works and I don't know if that's true but then I see my friend's investment was successful I realized that I will also invest my money that I can also earn from investing it here.

Its encourage me due to many users who invest in many ico's that have a success in terms of their project. lately I think in most ico projects are scam and if I invest my money is in high risk but my thought was wrong because many ico project now are legit and if you have patient to find a project you'll not repent on it.
