Yes it safe to participate in ICOs. Just choose quality ICOs that promote great platform and offered great project. To ensure the quality of ICO read first the whitepaper and you will find the information you need. Also through reading whitepaper you notice if the ICO platform, project offered, token sale, team structure, vision, and roadmap/timeframe are realistic and achievable.

I took a part in a few ICOs and I didnt get scammed or something like this.Some coins have grown a lot,some have fallen under ico price,but I still hope they will rise soon or later.

If someone think ICO is a not good for invest money they are wrong because somebody don't know about ICO Program so they don't have a any idea with this ico program. If you see this world wise company collect his money via ICO program and this company make a huge investment with his won business. So any one can invest with ICO because it is very safe.

You can participate if you do your own research and not just relying on others opinion about any ico. Check the roadmap. Is it clear, short and do you think it is doable by the team behind the project? I advice to go after privacy and payment platform coins. I like the Amon ico project for it is a crypto debit card with AI system tied to an advanced Wallet  https://amon.tech/ |

There are a lot of scam ICOs out there so your own knowledge will be your tool to determine if it is safe to participate. You have your own mind to use it and examine if an ICO is safe or not.

I don't think that we can use the word safe for investments in crypto. There are always some risk in cryptocurrecy including ICOs |

There are a lot of ICOs now a days and I'm sure that there are safe to invest with. You should see it from your self, you should conduct investigation or read every details of your prospect ICOs. Based on my experience on investing in different ICOs, I earned profit but I also loss profit. We just have to look for high potential ICO. But I think tokens can't be next to Bitcoin or other currencies. |

Investing in ICO is nice, but not all ICO are safe, you are the one to make research and select the best before you invest your money on any project.
There are a lot of ICOs coming out, without knowing what each will worth in the future.

It is not a 100% safe to participate in an ICO. We can't be sure that an ICO is scam or genuine.
We can believe that an ICO is genuine if there is already an existing product. Some scam ICO succeed to attract a lot of users.
It is a big risk which can be worth and sometimes not. If you can see video/interview of the team, then it may be a true ICO.
I don't think scammers are going to publish a video of themselves on the internet.
You also won't know when an ICO is going to be profitable.

All that concerns the world of cryptocurrencies might not be safe. Cryptocurrencies I believe this is the most dangerous investment. Do not invest all your money in one direction.

First of all there will be no coin similar to btc,ico are done by startup who are looking for funds,it is similar to ipo that is done through legal procedure.it is your choice to invest into any ico but try to invest in potential with unique idea which can do any better to crypto world,token generally give good profit so thats why it is safe for people rather than trading.

Recently participation in ICO became more similar to a game in casino as to predict result very difficult. However first of all you need to look at the idea of the project and professionalism of team.

but its getting better with each new ICO project! better security for websites, sale structures, better investor protection.
some of the last projects that did a very very good job for their ICO are HAVVEN, DOCK.io and Electrify Asia, sale very smooth and containment of the bad scam guys!

As far as I know, Electrifyy Asia was dumped under ICO price when it was listed in IDEX. I took part in DOCK.io, hope it go well. |

there is no safe word for ico. because there are so many frauds in ico. if you do not have the experience and cleverness to join ico, you should not do. ico has a big risk, so be careful with ico. But if you are smart in assessing ico, you can get a big advantage. |

Investing in ICOs is like the riskiest investment you can make. Its like gambling but with the odds against you. If crypto currencies are high risk assets than ICOs are worse than that.

yes it's safe if you choose the right one, many people said that all ICO are scam but it not entirely true since there are many good ICO that even there's some that already has a working product and it's good to invest in, do your researh throughly if you want to invest to find ICO that not a scam one. even if it's risky if you found a good one you gonna got some profit from it.
