Yes but before joining and participating in ico make sure to read carefully all of the terms and conditions of the said ico because there are icos that are scam and there are some that are real so you must pick the ones that are a good ico so that you will never be broken

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

There are many ICO that are safe and there will be even more that will be unsafe. When I mean unsafe, I do not only refer to the scams, i am also referring to ICO that do not have a product and just trying to raise money for the sake of accumulating their own wealth.

So before you invest in any ICO, you need to really research into what you are investing into.

A few basic questions to ask.. Does the ICO has a real product? What is the experience of the Team? Anyone on board that has been part of a previous successful ICO? Who are the advisors? A credible advisor is important as no reputable advisor will want to risk his/her reputation on a scam..

But all these wont necessary make it safe.. just a few precautions and due diligence.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

The world is full of risk also in the alt coins and ICO's too . And no ICO can be safe and it can be scam too but before you participate and invest on ICO better be sure that you make your own reseach on their project and the people who's behind the ICO.

Yes it still safe, but always try to examine first it before you participate in that ico. Some ICOs now are scam so its better to choose the right ico, so that if that ico will become sucessful you can get big profit.

For me, it is safe if you research about the project and the developer. Some ICOs are very promising project that is why other people incourage to invest them. And some are scam so I am not trusting them 100%.

There is always a risk. It's also a form of gambling. You gamble whether you will gain a profit or not. If you're not willing to take that risk. Dont do it.
But if you really want to participate, you should study the project first. Try to examine it well. Is their project achievable within their givin time frame or is the idea something that can be achieved with the technology available.

ICO's are 50/50

theres ICO that are scams and run with investors money
theres ICO that didnt make the soft cap and send back the investors money to each participants.
there are successful ICOs that went well and continue the project though some value after after went down and some go to moon..

before joining ICO make your own research and most of ICO now is KYC required and that is the safest one.

When you participate in the ICO, you invest in a project with high risks, but also with a high profit in case the project successfully starts functioning. You should be prepared to lose your money, so you need to distribute your investment between high-risk and low-risk projects.

Yes it is safe, if you are aware of scams.

Check trade.io which is a very good ICO. It's currently raised $12mil in pre-ico and ICO starts on 7th dec. It's a very promising project and it will go a long way.

Also check Binance and DIW, which are upcoming ICOs. The concept is good on both these ICOs.

I think it depends on your choice of ICO's. Because if you do not choose the right ICO you are unsafe and there is a great danger that will come to you, and to be safe you must first research about the project, developers and their background .

icos can be secure and unsecure. mostly are probably scams. all depends on your research...research regarding team members (real profiles) are really important.
but my recommendation is that if u want really want some tokens of a ico-project, just wait till it get listed on exchange. first comes pump then dump. maybe u can get a cheaper price or a little bit higher. but in the end u know more about if ico was a scam or not.
 i hope this helps

ICO should be one of the most risky forms of financing in the world. It contains a lot of uncertainty and there is no clear law blank in any country in the world.
However, ICO is the world's largest investment method with the largest short-term profit-making probability.
Very contradictory is not it? I think participating in the ICO project must carefully read the team information, especially the CEO's character issues.

If you watch for scams and fraudsters and avoid them, then you are safe to participate in ICOs.
There are good ICOs out now, and you can take a look at some of them in a poll I created in another thread, feel free to check it out.

All ICO's is risk. All investments are risk. The success of the program depends on the team and project. Study about project before you invest in it.

It can be safe if you avoid scammers.
There are so many ICOs to choose from but caution must be taken.
There are ICOs that you can invest in and I think trade.io is one of them, that one is going very well right now. Also one that is upcoming is DIW, i liked the video on their website, its something that i would be interested in investing in one day.

I believe ICOs are safe.

I have invested in various ICO's and it worked for me. But, make sure to read the comments of other investors before investing your Bitcoins or ether in ICO. Keep an eye on every single update from the ICO you have invested in.

It is actually risky investment as Bitcoin was (and still risky) itself. You invest in some asset and just believe in its success)

Not all ICO, there are many bad ICos. Only a few of them are good. I invest in some ICos and make some profit in the early ICo boom. Now, I invest in La token , I haven't got any profit from the token. The token in the market not good, the price is under ICO price. Today, there new ICos everyday, it is difficult to find the best ICO, I prefer to keep my eth now than to invest in ICO.
