Yes its mostly very safe to join icos. But you should care about it. There are obvious scams to bait people, you shouldn't be caught. Stay safe, do wise investments and no prob.

It completely depends on the ICO you are planning to invest. Yoi must have complete idea about the product behind the ICO and its status. Some ICOs are very clear about their product idea, implementation and future. They put the product details for investors and offer a detailed whitepaper with transparency. ICO is safe or not, is completely depends on your understanding and study about it.

With such a big market like the ICOs are right now there can be unsafety. But you have to be wise what you're investing your money in. Check the background and make sure everything is correct and the ICO has future. I found a p2p loans platform called Karma (https://tokensale.karma.red/). The ecosystem has thousands of hedge funds and currency exchange risk insurers will be in a competition to create the best option for risk minimization. Their ICO has collected already 3.3 M USD and they are offering a 15% discount when buying.

ICO's are just like any other investment, research is the key. You are able to lose your money in any type of investment, whether that's stocks on Wallstreet or putting some ETH into an ICO.

So do you homework, look at the concept, the whitepaper, the team, the numbers. Ask questions on their thread that are troubling you, see how the rest of the community is taking to them.

Even if everything looks great, get into their bounty campaign, see how they work. Most ICO's are open at least a month, so there is no reason to rush into it. Better to take your time, calculate your move and reap the benefits.

yes it is very safe for us to berparisipasi into ICO because, from an ICO we can predict where the project will be run, how big the followers in it and for the project whether the ICO, from there we can estimate whether or not safe ICO to follow it.

IMHO you can earn much if you invest on lending platform types of coins, but you must conduct deep study when investing and always remember to invest what you can afford to lose. Cheesy

I'm not a pro trader but I am slowly learning Smiley
Indeed there are extensive number of ICO'S which you have smart thoughts and have extraordinary thoughts and are extremely fascinating yet be recollect that there are some ICO'S which are phony and have no genuine tasks they are simply influencing individuals to trick and can get cash through cash.

In every investments there will be always risk. Investing in ICO will be profitable if there are more investors in that new token and the amount of invested money will determine the value of that token. Some of them could succeed if it is properly advertise and has good technology behind it and others are just money grab to steal your money and just vanishes.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

Dude, it is an investment. And every investment out there carries their own shares of risks hanging on to them. The question you should really ask yourself is that; are the risks worth the rewards/profits? Or is it even worth the gamble?
Now, to be able to answer this questions, you really need to have great knowledge about the ICO and a good amount of experience in the crypto world. So if you are still new to this world, then i suggest you go and invest in altcoins that are more reputable and legitimate. Or perhaps on bitcoin. Yes, ICOs offer greater profits, but luck ain't gonna help you everytme. So better he safe than sorry. Good luck

I have invested in ICOs for 2 years and I can be sure with you, investing in ICOs is never safe. But this is the truth you have to accept. How do you wanna earn much money without risks? The best way to reduce the risk is that you must research projects carefully before buying.

As long as you invesitgate the ICO and find a real use of the coin you get out of it, it is safe.
Most of them end up badly for the investors and the biggest example is that electroneum coin.
Investors' coins are still locked out and can't be traded. Really dissapointed, and they managed to pull out the biggest ICO ever.

not all ico can guarantee it all because I think that is the secret of the company, for that many people who do not guarantee a project is good 100%.

Hmm…ICO is kind of investments which has its risks . But if you are skillful  , you can limit risks from it. Before deciding to invest ICO or any others , spend time doing some research about it is a good way to conquer it.You may be careful  to preventing scam.I can’t say for sure that investing ICO is safe because nothing can be known previously ,but you should have a try on it .You only need to keep calmand be patient in time you invest it.

Yes its safe when you are aware of scams and do your best to avoid them.

Look at strong ICO projects that have been reviewed by sites like icotoinvest.com or icorating.com

There are a lot of ICO's that you can't guarantee a 100% that is not risky.. all of them are risky. You have to be aware on what ICO you'll invest in, make sure that you investigate the project that you interested in.

I personally can't say that it's safe to participate in ICO's. After all, it's all about investing, and for me investing on something is always a risk, you could gain a large amount of profit from it or lose all your investments. My advice is that you do you research on the ICO before you invest, check their website if they have one, read the papers, and see if the project they're planning to execute is legit and reasonable.

the investment during ico is safe or not, it's depends on the project where it's succeeded or not as well as their launching projects intention. Now a days many of scamars providing Ico and after the fund raising during the ico they are scam.So we should read carefully all everything the project and gather the knowledge.
