A lot of people who got their OTN's from trading through IQ Option are 'dumping' them on to the market (a lot of them don't see the value), selling them quickly to get back the commissions they payed for their trades.

That will soon taper off though, because every week the OTN's will be getting harder and harder to come by through trading on the IQ Option platform. The amount of OTN's that get emitted through the platform gets less and less every week. Meaning everyone will be having to pay more and more commission (relatively) to obtain 1 OTN. So much so, that they would be better off buying them in the exchanges.

I believe that's when we will see the end of the price drop.

As we've already announced, yesterday The Open Trading Network spoke at the Blockchain Summit 2017 in London. These are just some of the questions that were answered during our presentation by OTN founder Dmitry Zaretskiy and afterwards in one-on-one conversations with the head developer Dmitry Kutuzov.



“What sort of assets will it be possible to exchange via OTN?”
Virtually anything you can think of: fiat money, gold, flight miles, coupons… you name it! And it’s all because any asset can be tokenized on the OTN.

“How fast can a cross-chain exchange be processed?”
It will take 1-3 seconds per block of data.

“What are the possible risks associated with the OTN Exchange?”
Well, there’s the usual risk of asset volatility and low liquidity (particularly on rare assets) and that’s unavoidable. However, we’re working on implementing certain precautions to secure the value of assets for the duration of the exchange. More information on that will be released a bit later.

Yeah, that's one thing I don't understand about the distribution on the IQ platform: If they are decreasing the emission by about 25.000 each week then how are they going to stretch that to 100 weeks of distribution??

Unfortunately, there are a lot of panic-sellers and blind profit hunters out there, just looking to make a quick buck off of a good coin. OTN is not a get rich quick scheme, neither for us, nor for the investors. It's a solid project, with an experienced and brilliant team of developers. about your question maybe if you can open your eyes.......all crypto get down from 5% to 40% because after nice week trading now some sell and get profit.
You can't ask to OTN foundation why price go down because is not form OTN depend the price, but the market now.

Give time to token get up,......and one summit comprend many crypto not only this, after sumit people get time to decide wich one buy.....give time and don't worry if you buy this token from 8/10 dollar.......

Regarding the 1.2 million tokens...

Do not forget that there were traders on IQ who got 30.000 to 40.000 OTN's through their trades in the first week (because they were really easy to get in the first emission week). If a few of those guys decided to cash out.. then that would also be a significant volume.

I mean... they prob payed a few thousand in commission and ended up with 10.000 or so OTN's... after a few weeks OTN rises to nearly $60,- You think those guys are gonna let a couple of Hundred Thousand $ pass them by..?
