I usually found ICO in this board in bitcointalk.org/altcoindiscussion in bounties, which they announced what the massive  latest project they launched.to know that there campaign is legit and there willing to response in good return to us,I must research in online if its scam or not.and also to know the rank of the campaign distributor is Hero or legenderay,i must check also the comments and feedback of my co-bitcoiners if the campaign is legit.

I'm looking for new ICO's in twitter, telegram and on this forum. But better place to get quick info on most good ICO is to  check it at IcoDrops. All main information in just few words. Also information appears on twitter of project.

Personally, I'm looking for ICO in this forum, + different telegraph chat rooms, in google, on various sites. The main thing is not to get on the scam, because more than 50% of the ico for today, unfortunately, scammers.

Where do you find interesting ICO or crypto projects to invest ? Here on bitcointalk announcements or on other websites related to new ICO  announcements !
I always find good ICO in this forum and social media specially in Twitter. It's good and helpful their social media so we are updated in their project. But sometimes you can get more update from ICO raters website it's helpful too.
ICO rating sites are the paid sites. You have to know which ICO projects listed at high rank on these sites or has many spaces to advertise about that project was paid some money for the owner of these rating sites. Example ICOrating, ICObench, ICOdrops, ICOalert, ... are the paid sites to get high ranking.

I usually check this forum to find out the good ICO. After  I checking project website to reach whitepaper, check Linked to the team's members and advisor's member. To find out the good ICOs, you have to have good economy knowledge!

Good afternoon, in fact there are a lot of resources where it is possible to find worthy ICO such as:
1. Youtoub
2. icobench.com
3. icotime.ru
4. kickico.com
Well, in general, if the project looks decent and invests good money in your marketing, it will be heard by everyone and will be present at all major resources, and immediately attract your attention

Icodrops misses many good ICOs, it is not as simple as looking in just one page. Particularly, some of the ICOs that were there turned out to be scams o really bad.

My sources are: this forum certainly, twitter, facebook.
This moment among others I recommend this interesting one: KickCity project.
KickCity is developing a decentralized P2P protocol for event-marketing. This protocol allows to reward users for the promotion of events and will create a more efficient and cheap model of event-marketing. So organizers of the events will not use services of centralized advertising platforms/companies.  I suppose it's highly transparent and democratic.  And perspective of course.

I find interesting ICOs and crypto projects on bitcointalk, forums and some social media. Each and everything related to the ICO can be known better through forum announcement threads and through the respective websites of the ICO's. I usually read ICO websites as well as crypto publications and news and look for ICOs that are consistently mentioned. I also consider how they doing in terms of promoting their ICO in the world. The good thing here in this forum is that you can directly inquire from their team.

Research, any and every platform. Reddit, this forum, google, any ICO tracking sites.

And then draw a conclusion as to whether to invest based on that.

I think research how they doing to promote their project is not important.
Because if this is really a good project, the investor are always ready to invest in this project.
I remember some success projects like Genesis Vision or Policypal Network did not spend much money to promote their project, but the result they got from crowdsale and on exchange are better than which projects spend huge money to promote Roll Eyes

I manually search through icoalert, coincalender, and other site's similar and read the whitepaper.
But honestly bitcointalk is Massive with info, and reddit also.

Completely agree with both of you actually.
There are certain projects which do a lot of marketing to get in visibility to the mass, however, there are other good ICO projects who actually do not require any marketing or promotion for example "NEX", there is 0 bounty, 0 promotion, and still its like they are already filled.
On the other hand, there are many ICOs who do paid reviews on ICO benchmark websites like ICOBench, ICODrops, etc.
